I may be late in getting to this fandom!secrets post... but heck I still need my say. And there wasn't any way I was going to miss out on this secret.

Firstly... sharks don't have hands. Yes, I know this is pretty obvious, but the point is: Viral is not merely crossed with a shark. He has cat's eyes and god-knows-what's claws. So whilst it is clear by the colouring that his hands are most likely shark-skin, he may have other traits that make it more feasible (like for example, the palms of his hands might be like cat's pads, still rough but not quite as abrasive... I dunno).

Secondly... denticles, depending on which way you stroke them, can be incredibly smooth. I could argue, that as long as he's careful how he handles himself, it could work fine. Also, the roughness inevitably varies depending on the size of deticle (i.e. Some shark skins were used as hand grips on swords... this is not the kind of denticle that would rip skin easily... therefore, some shark skins are less abrasive than others).

Thirdly... TTGL is an anime and doesn't actually go into detail as to the finite details of each character's features. Does it actually state anywhere in canon that his hands are actual shark-skin... or is that a guess? Can we presume that it would impossible to have sex with him... no. The canon does, however, acknowledge that a sexual relationship with him is entirely possible as you can see in the Alternate-Reality-Viral-Has-A-Family bit.

So yeah... why must you dismiss him on such pathetic terms?? *you're revulsion makes Viral a sad Beastman*

I created an OC with a power no X-Men had. And it was kickass. Anyway, mutations aren't specific to individuals. Many mutants can have the same power.

But I get your point; sometimes OCs are Sue-ish and not very researched or compelling. This is where looking for and joining only high quality RPs comes in handy. :/

I don't own an xbox (it's the bf's) so I didn't care about the achievement. I honestly just wanted to see the look on his face, since he's a total softy and would have probably saved them all even if there was no achievement for it. XD As I towered over the whimpering Little Sister and hit Harvest, I looked back to him, grinning wide. He just shook his head down at me and commented on my icy heart of stone, lol.
