Crime shows are so good. I particularly love a lot of the older ones - Columbo, Murder She Wrote, Rockford Files, etc. Columbo and Murder She Wrote in particular might be good for someone to watch. They can be pretty slow-paced and conversational, which might help? On the other hand, maybe Columbo plots can be a little complex and silly. But gosh, Peter Falk is so, so good.

More modern stuff can be a little trickier. I did like Criminal Minds a bit, but it's very gruesome and dark. And most of the more procedural things, like Law & Order or NCIS, I don't care for so much. and then outside of things that are more genre shows that happen to include cops, and serial dramas like The Wire, I'm not sure what else I'd recommend.

Ragweed is in bloom again, plus the mold level is way up. So my allergies are miserable. I'm taking benadryl several times a day right now and still have a bad headache and everything is stuffy.

Also, not sure what I did, but my body just hurts. I've been having muscle cramps everywhere. If I had money I'd get a massage, but I don't, so I'm stuck with hot baths, heating pad, and as much OTC pain meds as my stomach can handle.

Doctor Who, for me. Usually I either watch something and that's it or I'm into the fandom. I might wander in and out, or it might vary in intensity, but still, fic and speculation and spoilers, etc. DW is the only one where I do actually consider myself a fan but I don't really engage with the fandom.

I know I'm waaay late to this party, but I finally watched it. And it kinda made me realise that I think I've hit a wall with superhero movies? I still loved seeing all the characters again (especially Bucky), but I'm getting a bit sick of the CGI spectacle set-pieces that always happen. I mean I love action movies, but there's only so many times I can watch Iron Man get punched and shit blowing up before it all gets extremely samey to me and I start to clock out.

Has anyone else felt this way with Marvel movies lately?

(Also why was Martin Freeman even in it? He was completely pointless...)

I dunno, I'm usually okay with sexual violence and write the original noncon..but that scene skeeved me out for some reason. But, you do you. It's not inherently related Agent Carter just cause it has the same actress.
