No, seriously, I love Ars Magica. I'm not terribly well versed in all the setting compared to some of my other RPG fandoms, but I have really enjoyed the games I've played of it. We had great fun building our covenant and researching our magic and immersing ourselves in wizardly politics and then turning right around and playing the common folk of the covenant who trade gossip about the strange magi in their sanctums and having (relatively) ordinary adventures. Troupe play was a total blast, and I've never seen another game that did it as well as Ars. I seriously miss playing Tarquinius Ex Tremere (filius Caesarionis).
