30 - MY LONG LOST TWIIIIIIIN or me possibly, I could have made this while sleep-walking, er, sleep-secretmaking.

18- I may be misunderstanding but your whole secret seems to be about how what someone ships is based on pretty much everything in their life, and how that effect that they see things differently (Which I agree with to an extent). BUT why is that not something valid to judge someone on?

To take your sad movie example, if I don't want someone as a friend who's life has made them the kind of person who doesn't find, say, Titanic sad, where is the issue in that? If the end result is still a person you don't want to interact with, what does it matter? And if the coupling is really symbolic of all those things, wouldn't that just cement it more?

20- Me to. :(

Dunno about anyone else, but I would so read that. The wacky sitcom idea, I mean.

I love them both!

[identity profile] weaselistic.livejournal.com 2008-04-11 09:06 pm (UTC)(link)
12. Definitely agreed. There's nothing I wouldn't do for Basch. I wish I was kidding.

[identity profile] unleashedfreak.livejournal.com 2008-04-12 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
I really, really love your icon. Gankable? Also, Basch is ace. I really need to make those Basch (and Balthier) icons I've been thinking about.

36- Don't be silly, why would it make you a furry? Maybe you just like it rough and wild ;p
n!s2- Hahah, I'd ship for that!

17. LOL If that's true then my biased nature will now never ever allow me to read that book.

[identity profile] hana-ginkawa.livejournal.com 2008-04-12 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Funny thing is, it may be written by a Mormon, but it isn't propaganda. It is a story, and a guilty pleasure for me.

It's not like it yells out, "MORMONISM will bring you hot vampire boyfriends, please come join!"

05. I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me the sex appeal of this character. I never played the games but I saw the movie and I still don't get it. Maybe it's something I'll never understand. Le'sigh.

13. I like 'em both!

6. :D That looks like the greatest pairing ever.
13. I liked Book5!Tonks, but then she went mopey. I don't mind that she was in love with Remus, but did she have to lose what made her cool in Book 5?
And Evanna Lynch is the perfect Luna. So cute and strange!

5- Whole-heartedly agree (er...not the RP part...you know what I mean). The only question I have is... Which do you prefer- Movie PH or video game PH?

29: A friend of the person who wrote that here - I know exactly what you mean; it's probably the most powerful thing I've read of theirs so far. (I'm also very hard to squick, but beta-ing that had me with a lump in my throat and on the verge of tears D: )

(staying anon as it was written as such; probably shouldn't give clues as to who wrote it, really)

Re: 29

Yeah. I thought I had an iron squick reflex until I read that.

24 and 27

[identity profile] graziaplena.livejournal.com 2008-04-11 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
24. For me, the most affecting TV shows are the ones that turn into therapy of some kind (couples, family, individual, etc.). Seeing characters work out their baggage onscreen is therapy by proxy (and, even better, it's free).

I'm sorry about your relationship problems, though, anonymous poster.

27. I liked that book, too. YEAH I SAID IT.

THE SCOTTISH FALSETTO SOCKPUPPET THEATRE!

Is that incest or twincest?

sockcest?

18. Me too.

27. Maybe long-dead authors of classics can get away with more?

[identity profile] flutingfrenzy.livejournal.com 2008-04-11 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
30. Not in the fandom, so I have no idea about that, but aww, Koizumi! How can anyone not love him?

#30 OP

(Anonymous) 2008-04-12 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
I know, right?! D:

[identity profile] stupendous.livejournal.com 2008-04-11 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
14. Now you're making me paranoid about having a Kuroneko keychain on my own backpack.

30. I was always curious to know more about Koizumi and his powers, too. Granted, I was curious about Mikuru's situation, too, but not as much since I just plain don't like her. Unfortunately the creators pander to the titty-loving fanboys as far as who they focus on.

30

[identity profile] khym-chanur.livejournal.com 2008-04-11 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
What I want to know is why Mikuru's organization sent the world's biggest doormat to be a spy. Of course the ultimate explanation is "Haruhi wanted someone exactly like her", but how did her subconscious set things up so the end result would be sending back Mikuru? One of my theories is that her bosses actually like the fact that there's a time-travel block but they can't admit it to anyone, so they send back their most incompetent operative so they look like they're doing something.
