This secret is very reasonable, and we are a bunch of out of control Internet maniacs

(Anonymous) 2016-09-14 11:34 pm (UTC)(link)
actually, if you go to AO3, there are some Varian/Sylvanas fanfiction
http://archiveofourown.org/works/5357957 - Unwelcome Respite (it's pretty cute in an odd sort of way)
http://archiveofourown.org/works/7790188/chapters/17772181 - Risen (which gives an interesting spin on things, if you ignore one instance of canon regarding Varian..)
http://archiveofourown.org/works/5715265 - The Best Defense. Not a romantic pairing fic but the two having a rather interesting conversation regarding armor (eye bleach is over there, if you should need it)

I have my nails painted pretty much all the time and I do it myself. Lately one of my favorite things is alternating black and white. I love burgundy too and I have a lot of greens and blues.

...I didn't know I wanted ultramanly!trans guy fic until now.

I personally don't care for the normal tropes either. (And, in my experience, the way they're normally used is really offputting, in a "do they even see this character as male?" kinda way in some cases.)

OP

You got the obscure reference.

(frozen comment)

(Anonymous) 2016-09-14 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe because it was Philstar creating the drama when the subject was still clearly Jenny. Or Case mucked up, whichever. Still Jenny that was the subject.

There is a closed court for people harmed by vaccines. http://www.hrsa.gov/vaccinecompensation/ Oh, but they SAVE LIVES. That's why we have to have a secret court, right?

Fuck.

When did "first do no harm" become "first make as much money as possible off people" and regulate and shame them if they don't feel the strict and quick protocol with an extreme number of vaccines is safe for their newborn?

I'm sure you guys are ALL for choice in regards to birth control, right up to and including partial birth abortion, like where the fetus could survive easily and is already partly born, right?

But no choice for parents about when, how much, or even (gasp) whether they pump their children full of poison and vaccines right after birth and for years to come.

Grow up.

You've been lied to by the medical establishment (and gaslit). There haven't been forced sterilizations, oh no! There haven't been crooked drug studies, nope nope. And those Tuskeegee syphilis experimentations? Well I'm sure there was a good reason for that lmao...

But anyone who dares question anything about vaccine safety at any time or in any way is shouted down with death wishes. Because that's very modern and sensible...

Anyone who questions or has a problem with the established protocols deserves DEATH, right? Well I'm sure you'll all be happy when the laws go that way and peopel are literally prosecuted for not vaccinating.

I wish I could, honestly. My nails are really tiny, though-- the nail beds are extremely short, and my nails rarely grow out far enough to justify doing anything with them. The only time I went to a manicurist, she just sort of humiliated me over the size of them and how hard they were to work on, so I've been kind of put off it. :(

DA

Hrm, no, I think that's a leap. Thinking someone totally deserves a punch in the face and wishing karma would make circumstances fall into place to grant them one somehow is not the same as being okay with doing it, or allowing it to happen if you could prevent it.

People might get AUTISM which will ruin their lives and more importantly the lives of everyone around them. What? Of COURSE you can develop autism in the middle of your life? What the hell is 'developmental disorder supposed to mean anyway?? /s

I paint my own nails about 50% of the time, just a solid color (usually something darker, although I'm wearing a beaige-y shade right now since I had job interviews).

I never get my fingernails done professionally because I always chip them like 2 hours later. But I looooooove getting pedicures; once I'm out of grad school and back to a regular budget I'm going to start going once a month.

I was fidgeting so much today teaching that I broke two nails. I'm mad about it.

I bite them a lot. It's not that cute.

I'm actually referring to two specific incidences of an anon here saying just that -- the latter quite recently.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-14 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Moving the weirdos back into home schooling is a good thing though. Keeps them in their own community to spread the deadly diseases amongst themselves and not others, keeps their ideas away from the mainstream too.

I don't really care about them, but they were flaking off a few month back, and my bff bought me some nail care/hardener sort of thing and it works really well.

I have another friend who's jealous about how I can grow them, but I'm just lazy in maintenance, so I let them grow until the bother me and then I just cut them off.

Also my bf things long nails are a bit creepy and since I do not mind either way, I tend to cut them shorter often.

I used to be more artsy and patient with decorating them, but they mostly are nude of one colour now. Sometimes with a glittery layer on top. I favor blues because you don't often see those and I love blue <3

I love when background characters do weird or hilarious stuff when they are in a scene.

I also like watching dead bodies as closely as possible to see if I can see the actors breathe or move.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-14 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Well maybe if the vaccine did cause autism then she'd have some support, but they don't.

Happy canon fix-its, because I so often find the canon frustrating and sad.

H/C for sure. The worse the H, the better the C in those situations.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-14 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I think the difference between those two are clear. This anon is not wishing Jenny dead, she's saying if and when Jenny were to die, if the circumstances happened to be a preventable disease the irony would be humorous. That's a far cry from wishing she'd drop dead right now.

This reminded me of The Bartimaeus Trilogy. It's the titular demon's inner monologue that's amazing. I'd love to hear it as a voice over, but with all the talking, might as well just read the book eh.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-14 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
To paraphrase Clarence Darrow, I may not wish them dead, but I'll read their obituary notices with great satisfaction.
