I seem to have become so disenchanted with traditional romance tropes that I can't even remember the last time I felt invested in a canon pairing. Legit canon, not just UST. Thoughts?

Red Dwarf: Rimmer/Inflatable Rachel. A love that lasted as long as a man had a working bicycle pump.

Hmm. I think the last fandom I got into was Osomatsu-san, which would make the last canon pairing I shipped Jyushimatsu/his girlfriend. Because they're adorable and pure and heartbreaking all at once, and they may only have had one episode together but they sure dang made it count.

Robert/Aaron on Emmerdale. I'm watching their storyline on youtube and it's so addictive.

Cosima/Delphine, although I prefer when fic (and the show) acknowledges they're both kind of terrible. Especially Delphine. But I am also super interested in things showing her side of discovering her sexuality and guilt/remorse about the monitor relationship?

Magnus/Alec on Shadowhunters. Terrible show (much better when drunk), some good fanfic.

All the couples on Parks and Rec as well. Not sure which was most recent.

I for the life of me can't think of any. I mean, they must exist. Surely at some point I shipped a pair and they became canon, but it's really hard to think of an example.

I liked all the pairings in the Percy Jackson series, though I read the books in... 2011, so not exactly recent. Didn't bother with the sequel series.

There are canon pairs whose stories I enjoy, but to me "shipping" something by definition means it's something that hasn't happened (yet).

There are plenty of canon pairs I think are cute together but I wouldn't "ship" because they're already a couple and their dynamics are defined and presented on screen so ... why would I have to?

I ordered the plus two nights ago (FINALLY AVAILABLE TO BUY) and got a text yesterday it's in post office. About to go pick it up, hoping so much it will make the game playable again.

Or it's a bad impulse by but what are 2.5 jobs if not for the occasional wasteful splurge?

I'm liking the halloween event. Nice to have something other than pidgey and zubat everywhere.
