I've heard that PAINT.net (http://www.getpaint.net/) (not your usual MS Paint) is a decent piece of freeware as well. Not quite sure if it suits your needs since it seems to be more of an image editing software compared to an artistic software, but it's a good starting point.

Its a very good program. Better than GIMP imo.

34. When I first watched ep I, Jar Jar didn't particularly annoy me, but I didn't love him either. Once I got older and watched it again, I kind of felt like it was difficult to sympathize with him, but mostly because of how the movie was handled. I mean, not even the other characters seemed to like him a whole lot, so I think it's understandable for people who see the movie to feel the same. Doesn't mean people who like him should be looked down on, though. More power to you. :)

38. Am also curious on why. I never really wished he was girl, as I think the other girls in One Piece are pretty kick-ass as it is. And I figure Luffy would be basically the same, whether he had a set of boobs or not. (I have, however, thought it'd be pretty interesting if Zoro were a girl, but mostly 'cause of his backstory and how it kind of relates to gender. I've never wished Oda had changed it, though.)

Michael/Ryan is beautiful but it's tainted for me by Ryan being such an unbelievable jerk. But Michael's mancrush is quite, quite lovely.

40. Yeah -- I actually used to ship it when I still liked Harry Potter, but the fans of that pairing can be amazingly annoying about that point. There's nothing wrong with shipping non-canon pairings (personally, I tend to find them more interesting than canon pairings, if only because they haven't been explored in canon so there's more room for fanfic authors to play around with them). Just... please admit that's what you're doing, and stop insisting your pairing is omgsocanon! as if that makes it more valid or something.

27. Isn't there a free version of Open Canvas? I used that, but didn't have a tablet at the time. *lol* starving artists unite! From what I remember, it had pen sensitivity. Sure, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of photoshop or the paid version of Open Canvas. . .but you can draw and paint and I believe it has layers too! It's been a while since I used it. . .

When she first sank my ship, I was devastated. These two were my very first yaoi OTP. But now I'm happy it's it isn't canon. I thought her canon pairings were poorly written anyway. ((Except Fluer/Bill. That was cute as heck.)) I now feel better about liking pairings that aren't canon thanks to that experience.

Oh, and the program I actually use is called "Artweaver". The actual link to download it is fairly long, but if you just type in 'Artweaver' on google, it should be the first link. As far as I'm aware, it's tablet compatible, and it's completely free. It at least has the basics for good-art programs, such as brush varients, layers, opacity... though it really doesn't have all the tricks that photoshop has. But hey, it's free, whaddya expect?

Definitely recommend "Who's Your Daddy" by Benny Bennassi, "Bloodsport" by Sneaker Pimps, "Ready, Steady, Go" by Paul Oakenfold, and "Real Thing" by KMFDM. Hur. Not trying to be an asshole or anything, just throwing up some of my club tunes I use when I think of those scenes. Hope you enjoy!
