7. That's what I enjoy the most about slash/boy's love/yaoi as well. I get all tingly inside seeing a guy being dominated over. Het does nothing for me either. It's just... kinda boring and atypical. (No offense to het pairing fans of course. Heck, I like a handful of het pairings myself. Just that I find a guy sexing up another guy a lot more of a turn-on than a guy sexing up a girl. I'm usually only into het pairings for the romance. :/)

13 - Jimmy Eat World is fantastic. I got into them around the time Bleed American was released. 2001-ish. So, I wasn't around for the first couple albums, either. However, all of their stuff is so amazing. And if any faker wants to rag you about not being there from the get-go, then they aren't worth your time to begin with. I'm still amazed at how consistently they release amazing albums filled with beautiful music.

13. It does NOT make you a faker. There are a lot of douchebags with the same favorite band as me (which, BTW, isn't those guys but I can still relate), who have known them since the very beginning. They think they're entitled to more because they've known about them longer, but they're really not. It doesn't matter, as long as you're genuine in your love for them, and it's not centered around something superficial. I hope you get to tell them what you said some day--it's a really gratifying feeling, to know that you're giving something back to them that they can take away from the experience. :) Oh, and some advice: if you do get the opportunity, write it all down and give it to them, because I doubt you'll remember everything you have to say when you're on the spot like that.

7: Yes yes yes why are people arguing this

A forum I'm on sometimes has a "what sort of porn does not exist" game. It always end up with people going "lesbian robot albino porn lol", but you know what is even rarer than that? Porn with a girl and a guy, with the focus being majorly centered around the guy. Does not exist!

Slash is the way to go if you want to see any sort of smut focused on guys. With het porn it's 99% either from her POV and focused on her reactions, or from his POV... and focused on her reactions. >:C Unless you are particularly into femdom (which despite what fandom thinks, is not just 'girl on top', it's nearly always ridiculous overblown "you're not good enough to be a woman you sissy now get in that dress" stuff which is kinda silly tbh).

Still, lollin' @ the people thinking A) that their uber-cool gender-role-less RL relationships = fandom trends, and B) that if you think that fandom and porn are saturated with traditional gender roles and focus, then you are clearly just not liberated enough.

34. Really, I don't understand why people hate Episode I in general so much. It wasn't that bad. It wasn't fantastic, but seeing the Empire start to rise out of such a small-scale and seemingly inconsequential conflict was fascinating.

It was Episode II where the prequels really fell to complete and utter shit. I and III weren't so bad, yet they get most of the fan wrath.

35. Despite how much the fandom takes it super-seriously, I'm genuinely convinced it was meant to be a dark comedy. And as far as the comedy, I thought it was really good. But otherwise? Not so much.

DUDE! My friends and I used to do that too! We had a few songs YEARS ago, but the only one I really remember was Fushigi Yuugi. My friend wrote it, I tweaked it. Anyway, people are giving you a ton of hate for this, but what the fuck ever. Your feelings are your feelings. Even if he's a fictional character, if he represents what you're looking for in a guy, then maybe one day you'll find one. I wouldn't quite be able to say what it means about your sexuality, but trust your gut, not what people tell you. That's all you can ever do.
