OH MY GOD. I've been trying to remember the name of those books for DAYS. Thank you for the secret, and I somewhat agree. I'd love a fandom, but at the same time, I'd be afraid that fandom would ruin it.

01. ಠ_ಠ I think Aqua is haunting me. LMAO. I was watching something on TV that mentioned them Friday. But you shouldn't be afraid what your friends think unless they're like that. I mean, they might tease you out of good fun, but if you have those kind of "friends" who will give you real shit about that. Time for new ones.

03. I didn't watch the anime (couldn't stomach it for that long), but I read it in the manga and it was a very powerful moment in that manga (I didn't cry, I teared up over it, but I actually did cry when Sasuke left Konoha). It's really disappointing that the manga is shit now.

26. I get what you're saying and I'm not going down the down that you're equating rape with homosexuality. But people have to understand, for people who like slash but don't like IRL homosexuals, they might regard it no different than someone who likes the whole rape fantasy. It might make no sense to many others, but it does to them. I was disappointed by Shore's comments, but 1.) not planning on a massive "coming out of the closet" episode does not mean we won't have amazing developments in the H/W dynamic, 2.) feeling hurt because we feel we're being called delusional and then likewise badmouthing other ships is hypocritical, and 3.) having a massive breakdown over events that haven't yet played out is a little presumptuous.

I would like nothing more than to see H/W become canon. But I still think we need to take things with a grain of salt and see how things play out - if you're unhappy with the end result, that's completely your right. But - might we have jumped the gun a bit, fandom?

A interview was posted in house_wilson saying something about how the show isn't going to have a chapter with House and Wilson coming out of the closet together, and how it might be better to keep that in fanfiction.

Some people were thinking that meant H/W was never going to happen. There was some disagreement... some things from past posts came up and... wank. You know. It wasn't that bad, I think the comm has seen worse, but it was kinda wanky anyway. You should check the interviews, they were pretty cool (apparently now H/W are well known for having 'flirtatious conversations on elevators' :D♥).

I think that the problem with the house_wilson comm is that there are two big groups: 1) the rabid shippers who see House/Wilson as a romantic couple and won´t settle for anything else, and 2) people who like the pairing but are fine if it turns out to be other way, like House hooking up with Cuddy. And the mods belong to the second group, so they roll their eyes, dismiss the drama and don´t understand why people are overreacting. That´s why the first group gets mad and the wank starts.

We'd hate them just as much if they didn't write slash. In fact, I'd much rather these people hate slash and embrace homosexuality as a healthy, normal sexual orientation, because what you do in RL trumps whatever the hell you write in fiction every single time. Fiction? Whether it be rapefic, or slash, or whatever the hell, ultimately it doesn't matter. Real homophobia affects real people in a really bad way.

16. The jokes for the old LucasArts one were pretty easy for me to understand.. But for the newer ones, playing them in order is definitely the way to go. (For instance, I played Ice Station Santa before playing any of Season One, so some of the inside jokes were over my head.) I would give it a shot, even if you end up not liking it, at least you tried. ^^ (And there are lots of other p+cadventures out there ready to be given a try.)
