I am the same Anon who had this conversation with you before about those two! I need to find a script or a video of The Matchmaker, for serious.

Note I said "decent" -- not "brilliant" or even "good" exactly. And it cuts off abruptly, probably incomplete but abandoned. But I enjoyed it, and it's the only one I found that was neither utterly platonic or painful crack.

My Irene Molloy was also Cosette. I wasn't actually in Les Mis -- graduated last year, but my brother was Jean Valjean, so I flew home to see it. I had a bit of a crush on her, though she's definitely straight.

I've always loved him, it doesn't matter what he does, I don't think there is anything he could do to change that.

And I don't get why some people act like it's a surprise that he's so fucked up, the nice guy with the permanent sweet smile was a facade, I still think there is goodness in him, but clearly he's always been batshit insane.

26. Been browsing the responses and thinking about this. You do raise an interesting question, but I believe it has already been answered for you by many other people. It seems like a contradiction, but it's not, really, because they are two different things. Still...

I sort of wonder why people who see, say, smoking as a morally dubious activity (perhaps they were raised to see it as such, or their religion forbids smoking, they just think it's unhealthy, or they have a personal aversion to smoke, ect.) who enjoy and fetishize fictional characters who smoke, enjoy reading fics about them, writing about them, roleplaying them... Why don't they get massive amounts of flak for loving on smoking in fiction but not being on board with it in real life?

Okay, so smokers generally have no fear of getting beaten to death for lighting up, smokers are free to marry other smokers, and most people don't get shunned by their families for it... Still, I wonder if it might have been a better comparison?

As for the second one, I think the short answer is "Fandom is obessed with sex" therefore, any threatening of anyone's personal fantasy gets people flak.

Situation A: A game's creator makes a trailer for purportedly the last game in the series that shows the beloved main character, tired and terribly aged, putting a gun in his mouth, to the accompaniment of haunting music and a voiceover about his "final mission."

This is the guy who has said straightout in interviews that he hates giving away anything, but you have to have something to show, so he deliberately makes the trailers as misleading as possible.

Personally, I think that's great, since I hate having the plot revealed until I get to experience it firsthand. I wish more people would do it. It would drive people crazy, and be hilarious.

Anyway, just remember the series we're dealing with. Considering the above, Snake ending up dead is actually less likely than him regenerating, or living on through somebody's spleen or turning into a cyborg or something. So cheer up!

42. I don't know if it's just that I'm tired, but something about 'I love men, but they're not attractive when they're not wearing pants' strikes me as hilarious.

I suppose the OP could love men in a PLATONIC way, as in liking the way they act, but then that'd be making a SWEEPING GENERALIZATION ABOUT ALL MEN and GOD FORBID THAT HAPPEN, OH NOES. I've had some amusing replies and I am pleased, but some just prove people can't read XD

I never said I wanted every one to SHIP IT LIKE CRAZY, I said I found people who shipped either of them with someone else stupid. I know most people disagree - that's why it's a secret - but if you really want to ship Zoro or Luffy... I don't see any other possibilities than together.

Now, if you don't want to ship anyone and stick to the canon, good for you.

Just - they are not with anyone else than each other :D
