38. YES! I am in love with every character in that game, male or female (excluding, of course, the ones you're supposed to hate, and even then it's a loving sort of hate). I think it's one of the first fandoms I've ever been in in which this is the case; my favourite character in the entire game is female (Mia!) and that pretty much never happens. That, my friends, is the badassery of Phoenix Wright.

1. Me too. Though I've only made it thirty minutes into the first one, so I'm probably not a fair judge.

18. I could have written this! I had seen icons of him around too and was so intrigued. He has a very cool, alluring design kind of like Matt from DN too me. I tend to start reading/watching a series for ONE character I want to learn more about too often though... so probably won't be reading Reborn just for him.

38. I agree! I think this game has some of the best female characters overall out of just plain anything I've seen, read, or played. Franziska and Adrian especially.

52. ME TOO. ME TOO. ME TOO. .__. As I said in my response to #18, I tend to watch things because I'm intrigued by a character... and the whole gender controversy with Tieria hooked me into Gundam 00. They've set up some really great potential to analyze the effect of gender on being human with Tieria. If it turns out to be true, I think the fandom will be more likely to explore the idea in terms of its effect on love (especially in relation to Lockon).

I dunno why, I just think it's... sweet that people can be so willing to go out and do stuff, they don't need to have an earthshattering epiphany or go through some great, big ol' test before realizing what they want, but just do something as deceptively simple as just reading a work of fiction. I haven't been journalling much for sure, as I deliberately decided to take a break when I realised I had written 100,000 words in four months (to my horror!) and my brainstorming partner had academic pressures to attend to XD

I figured I would give RP a go to keep my writing ticking over and develop characters a bit.

And... I dunno what you mean about the fic. I read what I like to read and I write what I like to write, in both instances for enjoyment. Not sure why anyone would feel they had to be deserving or why anyone places great value on whether I read stuff? *scratches head*

No, because the picture's an illustration for a fic and Cartman's not a part of it. The artist who drew the piece still draws him fat, but nearly as fat as he should be translated to a less-cartoonish style.

I kinda see what your saying. I write fanfic....but I do it for series, that while I love them, have flat characters, or need fleshing out in some parts (lol, Naruto...)

I would never, ever attempt to write (or read for that matter...) fanfic for series that I love, but are so amazing or awesome that I or another person could not improve (like Battlestar.)

Not a troll. Fanfiction by nature does not equal canon. Things that are not canon do not matter. If someone's actually interested in furthering their writing abilities, co-opting someone else's world/characters is not the way to do it, it's disrespectful.

Hence why this is Fandom Secrets; it's obvious that if I said this out loud I'd get eviscerated.
