That secret is so cute. I've never really thought about Luke in that light before (even if it's blindingly obvious), or rather I've never thought to apply it to myself, because I'm also someone who gives up on things (like surfing) because I think I'm "too old" to start.

33. Don't be afraid to get into something later than you should. I often feel like I've gotten into art later than everyone else, and I feel a little awkward when I see kids only a little older than half my age doing shit that makes me feel worthless, but I also feel a lot of times like because I'm older, and more mature, that I progress a lot faster than the kids do. Which, I guess kind of works with your example.

50. I agree. Naruto, the canon, the characters are so well rounded that they are like people. So when people take them and rp them or talk about them on such a surface level its so annoying.
54. Its very rare for large series like Naruto to have good females. While I see how both the fandom and the manga itself are sexist, Kishimoto does a hell of a lot better making women who don’t totally fucking fail and/or are just outrageously pathetic than a lot of others.
