49. I effing LOVE Avatar. Which is why I will never, ever touch its fandom. I adore pretty much every character so much; it would drive me crazy to read the misogynistic, hateful vomit that comes from the same kind of loud minorities which is in many fandoms. Zuko is fucking awesome. Katara is fucking amazing. Mai is fucking win, even if her name doesn’t make grammatical sense. I could go on.

I ALWAY forget that "Mai" is pronounced "May". Dammit...why they couldn't change the "a" into an "e" is beyond me.

I'm a rose fan and I agree that it seems to be the haters that are more vocal. But then again I'm a late start in the rose fan issue. I missed all of the wank and I tend to try to stay away from it.

I enjoy a little fandom/netspeak incorporated into normal, decent writing (not fic though of course). I don't like the overly used netspeak though, that gets annoying.
