I think that people who bash scientologists are no better than racists, homophobes or nazis.

I'm not a scientologist myself, but every time I see someone say that scientologists make them sick, I get angry. They're just people - or whatever esle - trying to find answers in their life. And who cares if it's a religion/cult? Since when has it been cool to mock someone for what they believe in? They can't help it, and they shouldn't have to. Intolerance is bad, you guys. Didn't you learn that in preschool?

I'm going to agree. Some people are pointing out that in that character's case, the OCD is meant for comic effect (true), but it certainly isn't entirely 'cute' in real life. And even as far as canon goes, Death the Kid's behaviour does almost kill him on a few occasions.

I just wish people would realise that different fan pairings work on different time lines and the reason one exists doesn't mean that it invalidates another one just because they might contain the same character. So IMO, Sirius/Remus shippers wouldn't bash on Tonks because hey, the Tonks/Remus relationship that some people might like exists and grew from a different interpretation to the one they made. And similarly, the Tonks/Remus people would realise that the people who ignore their ship aren't saying that it never existed or that Remus shouldn't have 'found love' after Sirius' death. Simply that this particular scenario doesn't fit in with whatever storyline kinks they have. Really, not that hard a concept to understand.
