120. Not only do I remember crying, but I also remember lying there, clutching the book, and *shaking* for at least an hour after. And then, for the next two weeks or so, the mere thought of it kept me up at night. In fact, it was my near-depressed state over the friggin end of a friggin young adult book series that prompted me to do some searching on the internet for people who might share my pain. And thus, I discovered fandom, and wrote my very first fanfiction. (the fic was Mary Sue central, but it's got a special place in my heart anyway.) It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

I'm not a Sirius/Remus shipper by any stretch of the imagination, but I feel that Remus/Tonks wasn't fleshed out at all in the books...it felt like every few hundred pages or so Remus or Tonks would pop their head into the main plot and go, "Oh hai! BTW we're in lurve now! BBL when I randomly show up to tell you we're preggers!" It felt less like a genuine romance/relationship and more like JKR putting them together so the Sirius/Remus shippers could STFU.

102. Damnit, I meant to comment on this one, too. I know what you mean, I do it, too. I don't ever get a lot of comments on my fics, and usually they're all by the same people, so I'll think, "YHEY, WE'RE BUDDIES" but at the same time I'm too shy to friend them. It's silly, really, but I hate getting on peoples nerves, so if they don't friend me, I figure it's for the best or something. :/
