Since it's come to my attention that certain communities have been purposely posting troll secrets for the lulz, I'm going to start getting harsher on what counts as a non-troll secret, especially regarding the fandom involved.

ETA2: No, this isn't only SPN fandom. This goes for everyone else, too.

Not saying that I disagree with this decision, but the interesting thing is that some of these troll secrets are hitting fairly close to actual ideas I've had (secretly, to be sure) about the show/characters/fandom. Sometimes the reason that a fandomsecret is secret is because of just how wrong it is. It's going to be difficult to differentiate between troll secrets and genuine secrets that are, all on their own, kind of out-there or offensive.

I'm also wondering how the mods of this community plan on defining what is a "troll" secret and what is a general genuine secret. If anything submitted by SPN fandom is even deemed as a secret, as that seems to be a bit of a problem around here too.

Seriously. All the 'I ship' secrets get passed through, and most of them are clearly fake and made for people to laugh. Why are you all of a sudden singling out the spn fandom?

I feel the need to point that our f!s tag is for sharing the daily offering of SPN secrets posted here and talking/laughing about them, not for nefarious purposes of eviiiiil. Not that we don't occasionally partake in a spot of evil, but that's not the tag for it.

But basically, no way does the capslocks spn go out of their way to watch fs and make it the main part of their day. A lot of comms have fs tags, or at least posts, but spn is getting the ire of the mods rage. As fucking usual.
I hate being part of this fucking fandom. If you take things too seriously you get mocked, but if you try and have fun you get b&.

As far as anyone really knows, every single secret -whether it's for spn or not- could be from a troll. There's no way to tell the difference. Obviously, or this wouldn't just now be an issue.
