Woke up to a story sale to a podcast in my inbox this morning. Not only that, but I have a contract and I've already been paid. It's a market I've wanted to crack for awhile, but I don't often write stuff in their wheelhouse, so I'm well-pleased.

Tiny good news is tiny but I bought a pair of pajama pants because they were ten bucks not sure if they'd fit me and not only do they fit me fantastically they are the softest most comfy pair of pajama pants I've had in my life.

I'm throwing a pre-fireworks garden party for all of the dogs in our village Saturday. I was afraid everyone would laugh at me but everyone has been lovely <3 My dog copes with fireworks best if he's worn out from playing beforehand and I was dreading this weekend but now I am excited for it. We moved house a couple years ago and I still don't know a lot of my neighbours so I am really excited to spend some time getting to know them.

This isn’t amazing news or anything but I get paid tomorrow and I still have money in my checking account, yay! Also I started digging up a patch of garden to plant daffodils because it’s finally cooled off; it was in the 90s right before Halloween and it sucked. And it’s gonna rain this week, woo!

One thing that gets to me is how in most visual media it looks like the penetrator is super cool and collected, while the penetratee is squirming and eye-rolling and drooling out of their heads.
