Is there a word for this?

Like I know queerbaiting is where writers make it seem like a same sex pair might get together, and constantly make references and jokes about it, but it's never going to happen because "OMG they can't be gay!!"

Is there a word for doing the same thing with het ships? Where they make it seem like a pairing is going to get together, but they're never going to? (Obviously it's not because they're the same sex, but for whatever reason, it's not going to become canon.)

Anyone know if there's a term for this?

Cat toys

I'm trying to figure out what cat toys will be best. My cat doesn't seem to like jumping. I first got her the string toy, but mostly she just wants to pounce on the mouse at the end. She'll stay interested in the laser for a little while, but then she gets bored with it. I got her a squeaking mouse today, and she seems to like rolling around with that.

What toys are good for cats who would rather roll and pounce than jump and run?

I am not entirely sure this job would require driving. It is a supply warehouse but it looks like the majority of my work will be helping customers and inventory (invoicing, pulling orders, unloading freight, etc). I've worked in a warehouse position before but it never required driving.

The listing says this:

-Deliver material to customers

-Occasional travel may be required and could include sales calls to customers’ offices and/or jobsites.

Some of you probably know but I've only had a license for about 6 months (at the age of 29!). I've always had an extreme fear of driving so avoided it. But I finally buckled down, went to a drivers ed school (that works with adults and people afraid of driving), and got a license. I can drive now but it is still something that makes me nervous (and something I'll probably never enjoy). For me, driving is a necessary evil.

So, I've never driven anything bigger than a Honda CR-V. If I need to drive my car someplace, I can do that. I am fairly comfortable driving in the fairly small town I live in. But, I don't think I'd be comfortable driving a larger delivery truck.

How should I address this in an interview without completely ruining my changes of getting a job? Should I just not address it until it comes up if I get the job?

iPhone SE?

I have an iPhone 5c and I think it's finally on its way out. Battery can't go more than 2 hours, screen not responding, turns off randomly saying it is 0% but actually 80%, and most importantly... running out of space for dog pics.

So I'm looking at the other iPhones available and blanching over the prices. The SE goes on sale every month for about $300? Obviously better than what I've got but will it last long you think?

i read a fic like two years ago that was rly long and set in the mcu and in it steve had begun developing, like, telekinetic powers? but he couldn't really control them, and a lot of it was narrated by clint (or in clint's pov?) it was really good but i don't remember enough details to try and find it

There was this old Overwatch fic I forgot to bookmark. I think the game had been out for a few months at the time i read it. It was a prequel fic focusing on Jack and Gabriel before the founding of Overwatch. Yes, it was Reaper76 fic, but it was a slow burn and contained more plot than shipping.

This is really a long shot, but I've been looking for this fic FOREVER.... years ago (probably more than a decade at this point) I read a lengthy Sailor Moon fic.

It was a modern AU, I think set in America. Primary pairing was Usagi/Mamoru. I don't remember much, but I remember that Usagi got knocked up. The senshi might have been a bit older than her, idr, but they were certainly more mature and had their shit together while Usagi was kind of failing at life. I'm pretty sure she was still a teenager and Mamoru was an adult. There was a scene where her and Mamoru went to a club (for someone's birthday I think) and he got her off while they were sitting in a booth and she kind of had a breakdown about being so trashy that she had sex in public like that. There was also a lot of Usagi feeling out of her depth because she still felt like an inexperienced kid compared to everyone around her.

It might have used the English names (Serena, Darien, etc.) but I really don't remember. I just remember it was like Jerry Springer in fanfic form and I wanted to know what horrible plot twists happened next.
