I've just received the first season of Torchwood as a gift and am trying to decide if I want to watch it or not. I remember watching the first episode when I was younger and my brain couldn't deal with the 'Doctor Who with sex/gore/swearing' thing and noped out. Worth another go, FS?

How did you spend your day, whether it was a holiday for you or not?

Spent this morning watching some Chopped. Then we had some issues because turns out the store gave us a giant turkey breast instead of the whole turkey we ordered, so we had to go an exchange it. But it worked out. My dad and I watched X-Men 2 while I played with the cat. Then we ate. Now I'm freeing up space on my Ipod to put Christmas music on.

I adore Team ICO's games and I begged my partner for The Last Guardian as an early Christmas present last year because I couldn't wait. It had its problems but I loved every second anyway. Then the final boss happens and I'm absolutely inconsolable. Like not even just a dignified solitary tear, but proper ugly-crying and sobbing. I'm an animal lover at heart and the whole ending felt like watching a beloved pet getting beaten. It's been nearly a year and I keep wanting to replay it for the trophies but the thought of having to see the ending again makes me tear up.

Ohhhhh...don't tempt me into writing Thirteen/Missy or Thirteen/River. I'm already sorely tempted to write both pairings, as it is, and I'm only a newbie to femslash.

And Blake Shelton is repulsive; I agree with that secret-maker. Why not Adam Levine again? Yum! Or the Scott twins (HGTV's Property Brothers, for those who don't know what I'm referring to)? They're doubly delicious! Blake's just ugly and annoying. Or Matt Smith?!?!
