Hahaha, that's an admirable secret; Gundam Wing's female characters are really outstanding compared to any other mecha series, I'm really glad that they weren't reduced to utterly irritating fanservice fodder unlike nowadays' mecha characters.

00 alone beats the pants off Wing's female characters. Maybe if they ever got the chance to actually do something. Noin was the closest that ever came to being an awesome female character, but she was stuck in a shitty Taurus the entire time and so was overshadowed by the prettyboiz and their Gundams.

122. Amen. I love Doctor Who and Torchwood but I also love LOST and Heroes. I don't think one is better than the other because it's British. It's just sci-fi. Same with anime and American animation. I love FLCL but I also adore Avatar. Do I think anime is better than American animation? No. Don't I think it's worse? No. It's just animation. Sheesh. Fandom isn't a pissing contest. And if you think that one is better than the other then you are setting yourself up to miss some great shows.

146) I agree to an extent. If you want to become a serious artist, you should know anatomy and the basics and start from the ground up. You can be influenced by different art styles, but they should not form the base of your knowledge. However, if they just want to draw in the style of a particular series, then let them. Who the hell cares if they don't get basic anatomy if they accomplish their ends? As a sidenote, I don't find CG's style offensive or ugly at all, but lol opinions.
