160 - Wow, there has been a lot of TF secrets lately! I kind of agree with this one, but I do enjoy G1 a lot. The only thing is, I enjoy it because it is utterly cracktastic. The shoddy animation, ignoring the laws of physics (and reality in general), the dramatics... and the characters are pretty crazy. That said, I without a doubt love the newer additions to the franchise in a much different way - for the plot, more rounded characterization, and (in Bayverse's case) the absolutely stunning attention to detail in animation. I don't particularly like the new ones over the old one - just for different reasons. I wish people would get off their elitist pedestals (or maybe take off the nostalgia glasses for a few minutes) and look at the new stuff for what it really is: a wonderful addition to a franchise that deserves to last for as long as possible!

Though using Minato as an example... haha, I'm not sure if that's the kind of friendship either of us wants to cultivate.
