Whatever. She was awesome and her chemistry with Tennant was fantastic. I don't understand certain fans not being able to accept strong female characters. If it had been Jack saying and doing a lot of the things she had done, people would have been all over it. Honestly, my main problem with her is that she wasn't developed. It was "Hi, here's River Song. Love her." without actually giving any REASON to like or care about her beyond "The Doctor likes her. I mean. Not yet. But he WILL. And you don't want to dislike someone the Doctor likes, right?"

133. We have that problem in Doctor Who fandom, and maybe it's an inevitable result of having more, and more diverse, roles for women - some of them will inevitably be baddies and/or casualties. As a hairy-legged old feminist I'm personally more concerned that female characters aren't there just to be pussy - just girlfriends, eye candy, sluts who get punished for it, etc.

147 - It's from the WWE. The ever-awesome Chris Jericho is feuding with living legend Shawn Michaels (pictured) over Michaels' increasingly-ridiculous ability to get cheered while doing things anybody else (specifically, him) would get booed for. He doesn't think it's fair.

Jericho is a whiner :P, but he is somewhat correct, even if he totally fails to take responsibility for his own bad behavior before the feud officially began, when Michaels was still feuding with Batista (and Michaels was completely correct in that feud, and Jericho's accusations against him were unfounded). Given the ambiguous nature of the disagreement, fans are divided, and one can hear equally loud "Y2J!" chants (for Jericho) and "HBK!" chants (for Michaels) during their confrontations.
