I'm more amused by the people saying they'll buy your book. All I can imagine is people downloading it through a torrent and then complaining about it like no tomorrow (complete with theories about your identity). It couldn't be a real commentary on fandom unless it was surrounded with illegal downloading, illogical arguments, and endless wank.

107: Uh, the 'Ages of Thunder' stuff all takes place in different Ragnarok cycles. So that Thor isn't the same as the Thor you know.

Also, I don't know if you're aware or not, but Matt Fraction -writer of 'Ages of Thunder'- HATES the chivilarious 'good guy' Thor. If you go back and read any interviews with him he explicitly says this is a 'Led Zepplin' inspired Thor, to paraphrase, anyways.

Frankly, I'm more of a Beta Ray Bill fan than anything, so I could care less about if Thor is a jerkass or not. <3

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Beast Wars fan and the G1 fans are the SOLE reason why I refuse to watch anything with the cars. This goes for the 2007 movie and 'Animated'. This isn't a secret, since most people I know are aware I can't stand any car-related Transformer series. Like, at all.

I'm shallow, I know, but back in the day people were relentless with their G1 proselytizing. Blech.

162. I used to think so, too - but it's not just that she's kept in the dark... she doesn't make any effort to find out what's going on around her. I mean, at LEAST by the future!arc she should start to go, "Hey, wait a minute, someone explain to me WHY we're catapulted a million years into the future." The explanations she's given are really paper-and-paste, OBVIOUSLY paper-and-paste, but she ignores the stuff that's happening right over her head, doesn't ask to know any more than she's told. It comes off as really childish and naive at best, and full of flat denial at worst.

I used to like Haru because she's quirky and cute, but once future!arc rolled around she pretty much became exactly like Kyoko and it makes me sadface. D:

Still, all the guys are pretty much BIG FAT PENISES for keeping the girls in the dark. I have nothing but disgust for Tsuna for treating Kyoko like a child while he goes off and deals with manly man business while the women and children stay home and cook. /whine whine bleah

I pretty much stopped posting on a lot of boards and what not because it seemed like telling people to give Transformers Animated a chance or mentioning that you liked Beast Wars was a sin.
