167. Actually, I watched that movie expecting not to cry, because I never do with sad works, but it's been the only movie to date that's made me sob. You shouldn't worry about it though. I've seen many movies sadder than that one that didn't make me cry.

AHHHHHHHHH 5 Centimeteres Per Second! *sob* it's SUCH an incredible movie!

I can't express in words just how much it effected me, the entire story was really beautifully done and the ending was so heart-wrenching that it left me shaking and crying my eyes out.

is was probably - no, definitely - one of the greatest anime movies I've ever seen.

All right, I'm just gonna be the hippie here and say it: girlfriend, the theoretical affections of a bunch of fictional men are not worth hating characters just because they are the recipients of those affections. The fact that both you and they are in possession of vaginas doesn't make them your rivals, and thinking it does is a warning sign about the way you may start to think of women in real life.

144: It's already been said in other comments, but yeah. The main reason I didn't like her was her smug attitude, the absolute lack of chemistry with the Doctor, and how undeveloped she was aside from having all the markers of "hey, this is a brilliant woman! You should like her!". It felt really jarring.

149: Oh, excellent! I would do that if I went into public toilets. I have written it on my hand from time to time and people ask what it is but nobody GETS IT. So sad. (Though once I wrote it on the bulletin board of the library where I work.) You're an inspiration!

The emotion in that movie is too forced, especially for people who studied history like me and realized that the bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima were necessary (more people would have died in a land invasion, and Japan was NOT going to surrender). That film is just one of many anime written by butthurt Japanese who still have this sore loser mentality Re: WWII (similiar to Southern people who fly Confederate battle flags and insist that "the South shall rise again".)
