132. So basically you think that people shouldn't be caring what they read? It's not net nannying to say what your story includes. Then it's up to them to keep reading or not, it's not blocking them from it, or saying not to read it, which is what a net nanny does. Perhaps people should put horror stories in with the children's books with no cover on it, or full on angsty suicide in with the romance novels.

I don't warn, either. I refuse to do it. If you need warnings, don't read my fic. It's that simple.

I take a lot of care to write summaries that accurately reflect the kind of story I'm writing and the overall tone of the fic, without giving everything away. Given the characters I write aboutand their stories in canon, any reasonably intelligent reader will read the summary and understand that yes, there will probably be violence and somebody might be raped, or endure torture, or even die. It's obvious I'm not writing babyfics. Anyone with half a brain who is worried about "triggery" stuff will move on to something else.

149 - I tried playing Resident Evil 3 once. I walked around for five seconds, got confused by all the weird camera angles, and got eaten by a zombie.

But I love watching my sister play the games. I think the Resident Evil games are awesome and I'm a fan, but I've never really played them.

My sister has been playing Grand Theft Auto 4 for a while and it's awesome to watch. It's a really cool game when you really get to watch it. I ♥ Niko.

I started playing the game a bit. It took me three or four times just to save Roman from getting beaten up, and I haven't really gotten back to playing it.

But still, I love the game.

You also love Gurren-Lagann because how despite using archetypes(like Kamina or Nia) and over-the-top action the characterization was very humane and believable? You also consider Gurren-Lagann as brilliant and consider the way these characters relied on others to shape their own identity has a big part in that brilliance?

I can't say that I was looking forward to his performance more, but I was pretty obsessed with Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent after I saw the movie (cause let's face it, he was the hottest person in the entire movie -- no offense to Christian Bale).
