Well...yeah. Anyone who would drool over a guy like the Joker IRL would have self-preservation instincts so low it'd be a miracle they hadn't taken a walk along train tracks yet.
But...it's a movie. It's like Hannibal Lecter, I guess. I mean, I don't find Hannibal sexy, but he's charismatic and alluring so long as he's just a projection of coloured lights on a screen. Same principle.

Considering how back when people made secrets about thinking that incest/non-con fics were horrible and everyone responded with "What we like in fiction isn't real life!"...I'm surprised that this is getting to be such an issue.

151. YES! All these secrets about people who want to be with him are frightening me. He doesn't care about people. He's an extreme sociopath. Some cases aren't as bad, but he's way up there. He doesn't care if somebody gets hurt in the process, he just wants to prove his point.

I know women who've been in abusive relationships. It's hard to get out of. And a man like The Joker certainly wouldn't let you out.

I watched my mother stick to an abusive relationship for quite some time. I hated the man she was married to. So it probably seems even stupider for someone like me to say that I, too, want to do the Joker. But! Its all in fun. The thing people have to realize is that no one (well, I don't, can't speak for anyone else really) would want him for real. They say they do, but honestly, if faced with someone like that for REAL, they'd change their minds.

I know I wouldn't want it for real. Hell no. As a fictional character I find him sexy as hell and quite charming. I want him, much like a thousand other girls that have been through here in the past. But my twisted taste in men doesn't go beyond the fictional. IRL I actually prefer nice guys (I like nerds XD). I'm a poetry, roses, and wine kinda girl. But I still like the Joker (in any incarnation, I'm not just a fan of Heath!Joker).
