A part of me is always going to love Sailor Moon (it being my real intro to anime and a keeper of many childhood memories), but the older I get the more I seem to realize the series wasn't exactly groundbreaking. The art is kind of meh, the story is kind of meh. I applaud the woman for what she accomplished in her time, but it just doesn't impress me anymore. (The anime was definitely more developed, though.)
