I always feel weird when I find out someone in fandom period is a guy because something about LJ makes me assume that everyone on it is a girl, and I continue to be shocked when I am reminded that this is not true. But I don't have a problem with guys in yaoi/slash comms at all, I mean, what does it matter what gender the people you talk with online are?

Though it always makes me question posting slash fic to comms where I know there are a lot of guys because I fear one of them is totally going to call me on my not knowing what the hell I'm talking about in my writing, and I have this odd thing about researching and making things as realistic as possible, so...yeah.

That´s my problem with men in yaoi communities, sometines I just want to be silly and read unrealistic romantic stories. If there are guys there, I´m afraid they would mock me and look down on me. They make me feel insecure.

YES. THANK YOU. Jamie got totally screwed by the "Almighty" Time Lords, and unless we figure in a season 6B retcon, STAYED screwed. As much as I love Donna, Jamie was basically consigned to nearly certain death in an unmarked grave, along with almost all of his people. Yeah, you people like him in the kilt? On the rare, rare chance he DID survive Culloden and Butcher Billy, he'd never be able to wear the kilt again thanks to the Diskilting Act (oh, Britain. Why do you try to quash my sexy dreams?). Considering that pic was a promo pic of season two with the characters from season one, it is a bit misleading.

112. Oh, I think so too. Because it's not as if people can be fangirls and intelligent readers of previous canon. Or think a character is hot, or like him as a character, independently of liking the actor.

That was sarcasm. I've heard pretty much everything you said before. Yeah, the secrets all about the same thing are getting tedious, but it's no reason to assume you know why someone is a fan of something. That's getting just as tedious as multiple secrets about the same fandom.
