117. Hey, at least you're not alone in thinking stuff like this. I'm stuck at the beginning of a Season 3 episode because I just can't see Gio the Sandwich Guy and Cousin Clara from Ugly Betty going at it.

I mean, I didn't mind it at all before, but I figured they'd be one of those "Oh yeah, we do it a lot but you never really see it" couples in the show. Then the token person of the episode dies, and BAM.

"Hey, more people having sex!"
"... Hey, why does this guy have dark hair?"
"... Oh."
"Oh god."

My fault for getting on board with the show because Rodriguez was in it. (Come to find out, he plays my least favorite character -- David FTW.)

148: While I agree that the writer's strike screwed up some plots (as it did for many shows), there are still things in season two that were not so great that cant be blamed on it: Peter's sheer stupidity, Hiro's feudal adventures were pretty lame, and Wes... just Wes. For the record, even the writers realized they drop the ball on some of this stuff.

Yeah, but some of the major things people point out as making the season bad, are things that would have been fine if we'd gotten the pay-off from them (like Monica-- who was supposed to become a superhero, and Maya-- who was supposed to stop the virus.)
