Haha, I'm sorry to tell you this but I've heard somewhere that Nolan hates Robin's character. But I wouldn't rule out a small cameo of him as a child.

104. I've heard a lot of horrible American accents. I've heard a lot of British, French, & Spanish accents too (by actors of different countries). I think actors that fail at accents on-screen just didn't do all of their homework. But learning an accent isn't easy, so I'm not going to scorn them for not getting it right all the time.

122 - The impression I always got of The Riddler was the creators saying 'oh hay what villains did the fans like? Let's make a character sort of like the Joker but not.' I know nothing about Batman.

Actually, the Riddler and the Joker are really different. The Joker is all about not caring what other people think, other than wanting to pull them down to his level. He wants the system to be destroyed. The Riddler, no the other hand, wants to be supported and recognized by the system- he wants people to admit that he is the smartest person ever. He wants Batman to recognize him as his intellectual superior. The Riddler, except for his OCD, isn't particularly crazy, whereas the Joker is a sociopath. The Riddler has helped Batman out on several different occasions and, after memory loss, reformed. The Joker would never reform. Even if he lost his memory, he'd go back to killing people. The only ways they are alike are their appearances, and even that is debatable.

Heh, I knew I'd get called out on that one, thank you for doing it nicely, those differences are interesting! I was referring to a purely physical/symbolic similarity, 'joke/riddle', ect, but those are just my shallow observations as an outsider.

I feel your pain. A friend (well, coworker I'm friendly with) loaned me a series by Charlaine Harris, and my opinion of her dropped, but I tried to be nice and say what little I could about the books. Last week I found out she loves "Twilight" -- my opinion of her has plummeted.

105 - Agreed so much. They are one of the few things that I fondly remember about DBZ...

111 - While I don't agree about all of the relationships you picked I do sort of agree with your opinion on Ron/Hermione. I don't think it comes down to him not deserving him as much to how I think their personalities clash and would never be able to truly work in marriage. Also agreed on the how the Slytherin unity was never truly shown.

125 - I don't think that's the kind of love you'd really want to experiance. His love for her was so powerful it was destructive and made him unable to honestly function without her.

128 - I have to be one of the few in fandom who honestly love Hinamori. She's sweet, and she has a lot of things to work out. I don't think she is going to get a large part in the final showdown, but I truly wish she would. She would either continue to be in denial which would end up with her attempting to talk to Aizen. From there she could either realize the truth of who he was and fight against him, or try to join him.

140 - I agree. I mean, I hate Bella and the book, but support of Edward is worse. He is a borderline abusive man who is hailed as just so "beautiful" and "sparkly" that no one is supposed to care. Bella could have been done in a way that wouldn't be nearly as Mary-Sue but Edward was pretty much a lost cause.

Um, yeah. If you actually paid attention to the world around you, you might care enough to vote. But that's cool, if you actually think Marilyn Manson (whom I actually like) should be president, you probably shouldn't be allowed to vote anyway.

I know I shouldn't get upset about things like this, but I can't help it.

I'm a lesbian who grew up in a poor family. I love fandom to death, more than almost anything. But when it comes to who is going to be president, let's keep in mind that we're talking about the guy who will get to say whether or not I have a right to choose, whether or not gay people are abominations or citizens, and whether or not we're going to focus on helping the poor get settled or the rich get richer.

So if you can't get behind any of that, shut the fuck up. I'm gonna go canvass for Obama now.

wtf is wrong with realizing that all of this is just a really bad joke? That everything does die and burn and crumble away to become just another particle in the dust of ages? It's the Truth.

Sure, if that person is just sitting on their ass and ruminating about it, they're nothing special and they don't really understand. Or even really care for that matter.

However~ the rest of you with all of your "seek professional help"...go and die in a fire.
