130. Kinda in it's own way made me realize I used to be too easily controlled and was weak enough to be mindfucked. But seeing the movie and being able to understand his character and the crazies.. in some fucked up way it sorta gave a bit of insight on how to stand up to people and grow a back bone.. and if necessary in the future... mindfuck people who deserve it. 8|...
Umm.. still wouldn't hit it though. But I understand why other people would. Reason why I wouldn't hit it is probably because the entire deal Heath playing in "A Knights Tale" which reminded me of this Wild ARMs character named Jack. To whom I used to write/role play his AU daughter... so.. D: it's awkward. Every time I see Heath I kind of see Jack, and Jack was my character's dad so... D: it's really creepy. I have no idea who, specifically, this is aimed at, but my guess is she doesn't give a shit about JK's intentions.

Most people who support the House don't. In 2002 there were people who supported the House who thought she was going to take it in a different direction than what it went. There were lots of hints about house unity in the Sorting songs, and even in OOTP there were interesting hints about habitat destruction and species competition.

But then in 2004 JK went to the Holocaust Museum, and in the interview (which you can find online, in "The Scotsman"), she said that she had never really realised before how similar her plot was to certain aspects of same. And (from our perspective) she bought her Godwin ticket and she climbed aboard the failboat, abandoning all interest in house unity. But who really cares what she was thinking pre-2004? The books we have are what we have, and that is all we will ever get. You loved them. We were disappointed. We're allowed to have an opinion.

All of the people who supported the House then? Pretty much admit that we failed at guessing her intentions. That's...not at all anything even remotely like news.

But we don't care. Why does it bother the rest of the fandom so much that the old school Slytherfen have either gone AU, are stripping off serial numbers as we speak, or continue to quietly haunt their own corners of the internet and produce fic and art for each other?

Here's the thing I've never understood about the Go-Go-Gryffindor, R/Hr, OBHWF side of HP fandom. You got everything you wanted from canon, with a big pat on the head from the author in the form of the epilogue. Why are you guys still bitching at Harmony and the Slytherfen and everyone else? Did you expect everyone else now and ever in the HP fandom to kiss your ass and beg for forgiveness for having a different interpretation of the earlier books? It's not gonna happen.

And yes, Molly was upset, but only because her one big dream (to bring her mother back) was never going to happen and she was basically told she had to give up her life as she knew it to be some omnipotent being that's going to be stranded in the middle of nowhere.
