103: holy shit. you are reading my mind! i just started watching it the first time and right after i finished the first dvd, i did a quick search to find the fandom. i was heartbroken when nothing turned up.

143. I would contact the webmaster? I've written a few things for pay porn sites and I used to work as an admin assistant at an advertising agency for adult businesses some 10-odd years ago. The porno business has its dark side but all businesses do. There are some very nice people working in the adult industry, and if you really dream of doing something like that you just need to pay full attention to your creep radar, but it's not necessarily impossible.

Yeah, and some people do say they're bisexual before they realise they're really gay and some people do have same-sex relationships just once and then go on and get married and have kids and are happy, but it's STILL a rude fucking assumption to make about people. People are what they say they are, period, until they say they're not any more, and if you bug them about it and you're right, you're only going to get their backs up and make them want to deny it longer.

I swear, my fingers automatically press Start + B + X whenever I'm playing PoR (and usually in RD, but it doesn't work in that game D:), and I hate the fact that 7 has that automatic save thing. I like it when my battery dies, but not when a character does.

Well, considering you're not an asexual person yourself... you probably will never understand. :/ If something genuinely doesn't interest me, I'm not going to go out of my way to experience something that other people might think is 'beautiful'.

I certainly don't see sex as something 'beautiful' as I don't view it as anything at all really. I don't care about it. I never have and probably never will.

So, perhaps you should keep your worries to yourself because you have absolutely nothing to be worried about. What people say about their own sexuality/sexual attraction - or lack thereof, is none of your business.

Just because someone's preference doesn't conform to society's ideals, doesn't mean that they're 'denying' anything.


And 'don't knock it until you try it' is an absolutely ludicrous thing to say. *_* There are plenty of things that I don't need to experience to know that I won't enjoy it. So what if sex is one of them?

This is a good point. But I think far more people classify themselves as asexual than actually are who are younger. Not all people mature in that way at the same time. A lot of people do around their early to mid teens. But many people aren't' interested in such things till they get to their early twenties, sometimes even as far as the mid to late twenties. You never know. There are some that aren't interested at all ever. But that's a lot more rare.

It's just there's such pressure for people to label themselves sexually that I think many people try to stick a name to something that's still changing.

I don't think "don't knock it till you've tried it" is all that silly of a thing to say. But at the same time I don't think someone should go out and do something they don't want to. But, since you're not interested in what the op described it would be impossible for you to try it anyway. Since it requires caring in a way that makes you want to experience it.

You can't try eating your favorite food on the rooftop as the sun rises if you don't have a favorite food. You could still sit on the roof and eat something, but it wouldn't be the same thing.

That and the OP specifically mentioned people who like reading smut but claim to have no actual interest in sex. I've heard a lot of girls (not any guys that I know though I'm sure they exist) I know say things like this when I know for a fact they're lying and are only saying it so that they don't feel guilty about reading porn. Also a lot of people become interested in the emotional aspects of love and lust long before they physically grow into it. Not saying that everyone who likes smut but not sex falls into one of those two groups, but a lot of fangirls certainly do. Also there's a difference between not having any real people around you find sexually attractive and being asexual.
