I definitely would have made it further in the books if Bronn had narrated.

Actually, come to think of it, I... kind of have the hots for him.

The thing that confuses me about this is that I'm not sure *what* is actually being wasted?

Prince of Darkness and In the Mouth of Madness exist.

I really enjoyed season 1. Season 2... well, it had issues. I wouldn't recommend it for someone with depression or someone who struggles to watch other people spiral. It had writing and pacing issues as well.

If self-centered teenagers could not date, no teenagers would ever date.

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
That's true. On the other hand there's also the part about wanting people to go and read the original books? So IDK

I stopped watching when she got pregnant. I have no interest in baby story lines.

I agree with the "Booth is always right & Bones always has a lesson to learn" criticism. That always annoyed me too.

This is the most adorable secret ever <3

So young boys not acting like men means they aren't allowed to be with a woman when they grow up? Right.

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
same, lol

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I never thought about it but now I want this too!

I really want OP's ruling on what other people do and don't deserve to be loved

LBR, their male friends were basically each other, Dean/Seamus/Neville were afterthoughts in the story.

I agree with this so hard. I mean, Brennan was never an all-time favorite character of mine, but I related to her and I had a real soft spot for her, and the show did not do right by her at all.

Actually, thinking back, I think the point where I rage-quit the show was the beginning of S6, when everyone was blaming Brennan and acting like she'd done something horrible and selfish for leaving to go...do whatever profession-based thing she was doing - i can't remember, it's been ages. That just infuriated me, and seemed to bode really badly for the future. The whole, "HDU choose to do something based on your career and what you need for yourself right now! The team is like a family and you abandoned your family, you cold shrew!"

Is that Christina Applegate?

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Snoke getting killed off was one of the only things I actually liked about TLJ.
Also: He had a really dumb name.

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I liked S2 as much or more than S1, but it's definitely not a happy fun time, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with not watching something if you think you might regret it afterwards. Honestly, you don't even need a reason. It's nice to support good shows when you can, but it's a show and you're a person; you very clearly come first.

Wow, she's gorgeous! She looks a lot like Abigail Spencer, the lead in Timeless, but I'm 98% sure she's not(?).

Wait...

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't remember that well, but didn't Ginny treat a few people not very well? By your logic, wouldn't that mean she and Harry deserve each other?

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I honestly couldn't even make it through season 1. I tried twice but it was just too depressing for me. Amazingly well acted, but too depressing.

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I wish there was a show where I could still watch Krysten Ritter be badass and wear leather jackets and hot and not also get horribly depressed

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
If this is trolling, it's A+ work. But really though, pull the other one.

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm just disappointed that they didn't do anything interesting with him. An unknown element from the Unknown Regions has the potential for really interesting stuff but they did nothing with it.

But then I feel that way with pretty much everything in the sequel trilogy. Good ideas but terrible execution all around.

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you think it's possible a Lovecraft fan might want adaptations that are more recent than 25+ years ago?

Re: Wait...

(Anonymous) 2018-12-06 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Not the OP, but IMO, throughout the books, almost all of the 'main' kid/teen characters acted like complete and total dipshits at some point when it came to being hormonal idiotic teenagers.
