I definitely agree that people shouldn't go out of their way to be assholes. Let people like what they like. But I also think it's kind of inevitable to compare different eras of Doctor Who, and I also think it's interesting to try and figure out why certain things work for you and try and understand the show critically. The problem isn't criticizing seasons, writers, showrunners, or actors; the problem is being an asshole about it.

I'm not in either of the She-Ra or Voltron fandoms, so this is all second hand info.

Basically, one of the She-Ra team liked some tweets of an anti bashing the team behind Voltron. The tweets in question were something along the line of She-Ra was going to be better because the staff was actually going to give them proper representation unlike the "awful" Voltron staff.

It's not actually an emergency, I was being facetious.

But basically, no one wanted the Oscars, then they finally convinced Kevin Hart to do it, but there was a controversy where he refused to apologize for a bunch of super homophobic tweets and so he ended up withdrawing from hosting like a day after agreeing to it, and now I don't know who's going to host instead.

People saying "Happy Holidays."

It's not "too politically correct" to say Happy Holidays. If anything, it's "too politically correct" to get offended over a term no one complained about until fundamentalists randomly decided it was offensive.

Agreed. She was bullied by Slytherins for being muggle born and they would mock her for being a pushy know it all. But they didn't bully her because she smart and I can't think of any instances where anyone else did, either. Even her friends had issues with her need to show off how much she knew yet still valued her intelligence.
