162 - I thought it was a very good film, too! The last bit wasn't all that hot, though. If they had gone with a more cerebral ending, perhaps making the interloper God, then I would have liked it better. As it was, I felt it turned into some cheap-o horror movie at the end with all the 'rawrr-I-will-kill-you-because-I'm-a-superhuman-villian'. But everything before the last 20 minutes? Solid and really, really good.

I hope that eventually the fandom will get over it's need for Josh/Neku and write SOMETHING else. Depression over the fandom is part of the reason my gen fic is stalled at Chp. 4. And normally I'm a slash/yaoi fan!

I was never keen on Shirley either, but everything about Nunnally is indicative of a tortured, lonely existence led by somebody who tries desperately to put on a happy face for the sake of others. People in real life have reacted far worse for far less and I feel that that really ought to be remembered.

You're not alone! I always really liked Wesley and thought he had huge potential. It's such a shame they let it go to waste. But I always enjoyed watching him, he seemed a little lonely and in need of a hug.

Anyone who thinks Elle is a strong female is seriously deluded (and probably just as annoying). I hope she bites it.

148. I used to feel the same way, but after Battle City and that impromptu duel they have in the anime, I could see the appeal. Write the fic, though! It's almost definite that it will be better than most of the rest.

149 - On Shirley, I really disliked her before her death, but after that episode I LOVED her. But that had nothing to do with her death, it had to do with the fact that she was finally DOING something for something she strongly believed in, even though she knew she probably couldn't handle it. I mean obviously she was created as a throwaway character with no importance to the plot other than lusting after Lelouch, but the fact that she could have *become* more than that if she hadn't died makes me mad. (Sorry shutting up now).
Nia and Nunnally, totally agree though. Nia's eyes freak me the hell out.

109. LOL... I respect your opinion, but I'm sort of the opposite. Bobby/Marie and Iceman/Pyro I like, but I can't see him with anyone else. Pyro, on the other hand, is my "little black dress" of fandom. I'm sort of the opinion that preferred pairings are mostly irrational, depeinding on which actors you like to see together and what sort of fiction you read (good fiction making you more likely to like a pairing than badfic).

122. Oh, yes! I mean, Bale!Batman's great, but the early stuff, Newsies especially? Much more fun to watch.

163. Find your own beauty! So she's this "ideal woman written by Tolkien, ZOMG!" He's just a guy who wrote some really good, really popular books based around the ubiquitous "quest" motif. Just know that you will always be human, and Eowyn never was. Even if Tolkien calls her people "humans", she's just a bunch of words on a page.

121 - Oh God! Celebrity Jeopardy. FTW

126 - As much as I enjoyed Dark Knight, I'm more excited to see Iron Man 2. Plus I saw Iron Man in the theatre more times than Dark Knight and I'm okay with that.

132- Er, okay. I look at Eric Roberts and see bad acting Master. Doesn't feel right.

143 - Beastie Boys for the WIN!!!!

146 - Neville hotness! The guy has always been my favorite character.

156 - Really? I am always so giddy after I watch an episode. But then again I usually keep to myself in fandoms.

162 - Sunshine haunted me. I didn't really like the ending. (The running around seemed didn't flow with the rest of the film). The rest of the film was enchanting, haunting, and beautiful. Good secret.

166 - I can understand why you would put it as a secret. It's a hard film to stand by with its content and meaning. But that was the times when it was made. Griffith came from a Civil War background. It is an amazing film to watch. It's just the stigma that has been placed on the film that follows it around. It should create more open conversations as opposed to assumptions. Plus Intolerance followed this film. Great secret. Silent films are amazing!

174 - Screw it. Like who ever you want. I liked Wesley too. I also feel that I shouldn't have to apologize to any Star Trek fan for whichever character I enjoyed. To be elitist nerds amongst a nerd community serves no purpose and is just stupid.

Exactly! I'm always so giddy after an episode, but when I come online to partake in what I'm hoping will be squeeful discussion, everyone (or so it seems) is like "meh, it sucked!" I just don't get it.
