128: Personally as a Spuffy fan, I just find them more passionate and interesting. I dunno. Sure Spuffy got butchered to death in season 6 with Buffy's issues, but I truly believe that Spike loved her more than Angel did. I mean he saw her at her worst and he still loved her.

I liked Spuffy because they weren't all frilly flowers. They were more passionate. However, and I can say this now that a few years have passed and I have more perspective. Buffy jumped the shark the day they had Spike try to rape her.

Oh, there was a slight come back in that last season, but nothing could make up for the rape attempt scene.

OP here. They like the anime too much to stomach something that strays from their idea of awesome. They told me they didn't like it when I started reading it, so I thought it would be horrible. I was very happy I was pleasantly surprised.

Lost in Austen is a four-part British costume drama in which modern day Pride and Prejudice fan Amanda Price enters the world of P&P through a door in her bathroom, because Elizabeth comes out and Amanda goes through. Elizabeth is in modern day Hammersmith (although that doesn't feature in the show) and Amanda is stuck in P&P world at the start of the book where Bingley is new to the neighbourhood. Watch as Amanda tries to make sure the plot happens!

I know it sounds like a 12-year-old's first fanfic, but it's done quite well. Just don't expect any seriousness, it's mostly very entertaining and fun. Hugh is Mr. Bennett and he is awesome! You may be able to find trailers for it on Youtube, although the actual episodes have already been pulled down.

Actually its not. You're assuming I don't write/read fanfic (I do on occassion but don't fap to it) and if he didn't RP with me I'd probably be right in the comms with ya'll. I'm no better than fanficcers and RPG players - I just happen to be married to a geek who likes fandom too.

I think she/he just assumed that 'cause anime/manga is typically done in Japanese that there's a language barrier or something if you don't know it, I guess.
Which I'm guessing is wrong...? Oh well, I don't know. I rp US/UK Bandom pretty exclusively, too, with the exception of some actors/actresses, and I kind of assumed the same. Ya'll know more about it than I do!

146) If you think everyone hates Simm's Master you're definitely hanging out in the wrong places, as most DW fandom seems to love him. Personally I prefer Delgado, but I like him too.

160) And spending a minute or so putting in a cut and a spoiler warning is such a hardship isn't it? Don't be such an arse. Not everyone has broadband or the time to go wading through the illegal downloads to find episodes as soon as they come out. And that's before we get into the issue of the ethical objections.
