It's my least favorite as well. I don't like sad stories and I didn't like Susan being cast as a bad girl for liking makeup and boys (even though I hate makeup myself, and I'm not too thrilled about boys). IIRC, it was just sad...

I honestly don't understand what movie you watched, and I don't understand what you want, because in the movie I watched, it was crystal fucking clear that these two people used to be in love.

Trivia that's only significant to me: the show wasn't on a network, it was direct to syndication. Which seems like it never happens any more unfortunately.

My least favorite as well. I'm glad they've never done a movie of this one, though I really wish we'd gotten a Magician's Nephew movie.

I think it was intended to be she was bad for not believing anymore in the things that actually happened to her. But it was badly written and made it seam like she was bad for liking makeup and boys.

It is hard to top Bridget Regan and Craig Parker for sexy. Nothing productive to add, but I agree that this show was really hot.

I'm gay and frankly still baffled on what Rowling did wrong at all. I think it was awesome that she announced that Dumbledore was gay, and I have no reason to doubt when she said she had envisioned him that way when writing him. She's not obligated to stick in a gay romance, there's no quota or something. Would it have been nice if HP had some in-text nods to gayness? Sure! But it's not somehow homophobic that it didn't, and it's still a net positive that Rowling went on record with Dumbledore's sexuality.

Yeah, this. I frankly don't know how else those scenes could have been read. It was obvious that Dumbledore was in love with him, the acting and directing was clear on that point without needing a narrator to clarify things.

If for whatever reason I can't get online, I only watch TCM and CREATE TV these days simply because I can't stand the overabundance of commercials that has plagued television in recent years. Also, I get super depressed and anxious when... forced to hear anti-depressant and anxiety related medication advertisements. Ha.
