University of Phoenix is for sure a scam, right?

I'm not really sure. I think it's more that it's unreliable because a lot of jobs won't take degrees. I have a friend of a friend who got her teaching degree there.

It's a for-profit university, so yeah.

Are they accredited? Can you transfer units to other colleges/universities? If the answer to either of those is no, or they charge more money than a community college/state university for the same education, then probably yes.

"Scam" is maybe a little too strong but it's definitely predatory, exploitative, and bad.

Depends on what day in the cycle. I start off very light, so might be able to get away with a couple panty liners for the first day or two. Day three is going to be more like 3 minimum (of the huge 10 hour ones with wings), not including the tampon and smaller 8 hour pad I wear overnight. After that, it tapers off a little.

It seriously depends on the day lol. Day 1 is usually just light spotting. A pantyliner is fine. Day 2 is hell day where if I don't change pads every two hours I will bleed through everything and blood WILL get everywhere. (sleeping does not really happen on day 2, for this reason) Day 3 tends to revert back to spotting. Days 4/5/6 (depending on how vindictively long the period feels like sticking around) are usually just one pad during the day and one pad at night.

The first few days of my cycle I'm really heavy and if I don't wear those super-thick pads I'll go through like 5-6(sometimes more) regular ones in one day. But I'll only go through about 3 thick ones.

On the lighter days it can be anywhere from 3-4 pads to 1-3 until it basically just sputters out and I don't need anything.

Also it depends on the person, some of us bleed more than others and a lot of it is down to genetics(what your mothers/grandmothers periods were like). And it changes as you get older, because it remaining consistent would be useful.

For me, my heaviest bleeding is the first two days and I might change my pad every hour or two and will still sometimes have leak issues if I lean in any direction while bleeding. I have abnormally heavy bleeding. After the first two days when my period gets lighter I wear a slimmer pad style and I change it a few times a day to feel fresh.

I usually have four or so in my bag just to be safe when I go out, and a clean pair of underwear just in case.

I've always bled lightly, which became very, very lightly once I went on birth control. So I'm definitely not the norm. But personally, even on my heavy days, one tampon would last me all day if it weren't for fear of toxic shock syndrome. One heavy-flow pad would also last me all day on a heavy day, but I never buy heavy-flow pads. I only ever use ultra-light pads for the last day where I'm basically just spotting and don't want to ruin my underwear.

The only time I've ever gushed blood was pre-birth control, when I went to the bathroom first thing after getting up in the morning, and my period had started during the night.

I'm anemic, so my periods are really light, flow-wise. It's usually pantyliners for the first and second day, and a pad a day and one at night for the next 2 days, then more pantyliners till it's over. I still get the same godawful cramps and period symptoms as I did when my hemoglobin levels were higher, though.

It's never been like "gushing" for me. Bodies usually push out the menstrual lining in spurts, so you get clots and heavier mucus bits along with hours where nothing comes out. At least for me.

I know some other people have much heavier flows.

Maybe 4. Depends on the day. It takes me about 3 months to go through a box of 36.

Depends on the day and the period itself (some are much heavier than others). Two on a light day - one for the day, one for the night. On a very heavy day for a heavy period, maybe eight or more. I'd say maybe four for many days.

3 on day 2-3. 2 on every other day.

I never wear pads, but about 5-6 tampons per period.

When I had my period, I used to go through about one every hour before I went on birth control. On birth control, I went through about 4 or 5 a day.

How do I tell my extended family not to hug my left side because I'm still healing from a breast biopsy when I don't want to tell them about my breast biopsy?

Follow up boob question:

Would it be awkward to go braless in front of family? Not nude, but like, a slightly visible nipple through a thick shirt? The bruise goes past where underwire would sit and I can maybe handle a soft crop top thing, but wearing a real bra will hurt.

Fake another injury. A cracked or bruised rib, perhaps.

Everyone online has been starting to say I love you 3000 all the time and it's made me curious.

Does 3000 actually have some kind of meaning or is it a random number they chose so it's tied to Tony Stark specifically instead of the more common and therefore generic 'I love you a billion/I love you the most'?
