122. Personally, I wouldn't really be freaked about it, but I'm not in your shoes and I've never met him. Also, I don't know how the conversations went, so I can't make a call on whether he might have thought it was a good idea to meet you like that. But if the guy creeps you out, there's a reason for it and you should avoid him. Gut instinct is right a lot more than people give it credit for. Never feel bad about going with your first instincts about a person.

Write everything down - dates, times, places. What he did and said. Then give copies to the police and the school authorities. Show your friends and family so they know what's going on and can help you protect yourself. Seek legal advice as well. Make sure that as many people as possible know what's going on.

As all the other respondants said, listen to your instincts. Don't let this jerk ruin your life. And if someone dismisses your fears and tells you he's just being romantic or whatever, that person is not your friend. Remember that girls and women are socialised to be "nice" and not offend people at the expense of their own safety. This creep is counting on that. Don't let him win.

Take care of yourself. There are plenty of people who want to and can help you. Good luck.

God forbid any of us educated folks who have a background in theater watching wondered where all the themes of sacrifice and heroism went when they handed us the Deus ex Machina ending AND invalidated the themes of sacrifice so they could cram a badly written romantic ending.

WHAT IS A DEUS EX MACHINA, you act? ANY THING THAT MAKES THE TRIALS THAT THE CHARACTERS HAVE ENDURED TRIVIAL OR UNNEEDED BECAUSE IT FIXES THE PROBLEM FOR THEM; literally, God comes to fix the problem. Which is exactly what happened! The magic turtle coming out of nowhere and giving Aang soulbending powers is the worst sort of crap writing; it means all that work he did, all the trials he endured didn't matter. He was going to get magic powers from a turtle and it was going to be what ultimately solved the problem -- something that appeared only ONE EPISODE before the finale.

HOW IS THIS NOT BAD WRITING? You fanbrats eat this shit up with a spoon, but those of us over twenty and with a grasp of dramatic demand (and dramatic cliche and error know that this season was Not That Great.

I just hope it's due to studio interference and not Mike and Bryan getting two big for their britches and making a lot of sloppy choices. I'd rather blame the studio then the writers themselves.

Oh well. Just a cartoon. :( The sad part is, this was something I was going to show to my kids and nieces and nephews when they were old enough. Instead, I think I'll find something that isn't so insulting to everybody's intelligence.
