I don't get the point of fancy underwear

I mean, it can make people feel pretty but I’ve been disappointed to discover that what feels silky-soft and satiny in the store doesn’t end up being as comfortable as good old cotton.

I don't get the point of underwear period unless it's under a dress for modesty.

They make people feel good. Does there need to be another point? If someone feels good in them, they should wear whatever makes them feel good. Personally, I feel sexiest in a corset. So sometimes I wear a corset. I like the way I feel in one.

It’s not super fancy, but most of my underwear has lace and ribbon trim. Mine are all cotton though because I don’t like the feel of other fabrics. I buy them because they look pretty and make me feel pretty as a result. I wish I could buy pretty bras too, but the pretty ones are usually expensive in my size or aren’t supportive.

Unless I'm wearing it with the intent of showing it off to someone, same. It's just there to protect/support my bits so I couldn't care less what it looks like.

It can be fun for sexytimes, but is usually terrible for daily wear, being too rough, or too bumpy under clothes, or just not that well-fitting.

Of course, this depends on the definition of "fancy." I have some simple lace bras from Wacol that are really comfortable but also look nice, and it's pretty easy to find a pair of panties that are comfy without being completely plain.

usually it's worn for a sex partner and only seen for maybe 2 seconds by said sex partner unless they have a fetish for lacy underwear. it strikes me as one of the more common fetishes.

Geese are the ultimate life form. They've got control of land, sky, and sea.

Even though I don't play video games, I still think it is a really interesting form of media. I'm fascinated by some of the worlds of some games, enough that I've researched and even played fics. I listen to game sountracks. I watch videos about games on Youtube. I just don't play them. I have issues with my hands that make playing difficult, and I don't have the time. But video games are still cool. And the world created and the characters are often just as interesting and complex as the ones in books, movies, or tv.

Yeah. Story-based video games are basically Choose Your Own Adventures, which started as books anyway.

I can’t really physically play them either, so I’m grateful for YouTube.

Re: Opinions you don't often share

(Anonymous) 2019-07-28 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
I think games have the best world building of all medias, because even when you don't have choice, or your choices don't have much if any impact on the plot, it still lets you live and explore at your own pace. It gives you a sense of control on how things are, and physically playing them makes them all the more immersive. (even when just watching tbh, too)
It has the diversity of novels, and the liveliness of video. With live action you can only do so much without cheesy cgi or an enormous budget, and details can be lost between the lines of books, so I think it's the best of both words.

Photo-realism in art is boring unless it's used as contrast

I don't know why I play dating-sims. I always end up shipping the options, playing one or both to get more context, and even though I know what's going to happen, I still end up disappointed. (I don't even admit to playing them in the first place, so this is yeah...)

People who annoy me: those who go "I will NEVER understand why..." in response to some kind of human behavior/reaction, especially in situations involving victims of abuse or self-destructive behavior.

Similarly, people who are adamant they would never do some stupid thing and condemn whoever did it. For the record, I'm not objecting to them expressing shock or fear. It just seems like they're more interested in announcing to the world what amazing saints they are and judging the shit out of anyone they perceive to not be, than... I dunno... taking the time to understand why people do crazy shit or why crazy shit can happen even to the most responsible person.

i think my friend should not have had kids, or at least should have gone to therapy to adress her issues before having kids.
(she refuses to go bc it could mean she can't enter state service if she has a record of mental illess)
i've known her for 10+ years now and i see her making the same mistakes which will surely backfire at some point
