101. I tried to watch Cry-Baby…I really did. I didn’t get through half the movie before I stopped and never looked back. To each there own and it’s great that you like it, but to me it was just embarrassingly bad. And I love Johnny, but I wouldn’t sit through that movie even for him. Not a huge Grease fan either, but I can at least sit through the movie.

For one thing, you might wanna watch the quotes around "couple" when referring to the homosexual option (though I do assume you phrased it that way because you're talking specifically about a fanon instead of canon couple). And I'm not gonna pretend that isn't stupid, because it kinda is. As long as characterization isn't broken, characters can be bi. One OTP isn't sacred over another. But I will say that with gay or lesbian couples, breaking up the characters to "turn them straight" can very easily be interpreted as intolerance and homophobia, much more than turning a straight character gay can. Minorities present more stumbling blocks, in that fashion.
