Truth be told, I never really felt anything for her when I played the games, I always liked Namine better... which may be because CoM had a better plot than KH2, and the only ones I even found vaguley interesting in KH2 was Roxas because he got a story, Demyx because he was comedic relief, and Luxord because he looked really damn dapper. As far as personality goes, none of them really intrigued me, and since Kairi never got much of a role in the first game, I have remained rather consistently 'meh' regarding her unless I read fic or RP's that actually DOES something with her.

THAT SAID: I do not hate her because I do not think there is enough to really hate, and all in all this mostly comes off as someone who just wants Sora and Riku do have hawt boylovin's more than concern for the quaity of characterization in games. It's the whole use of picture and the venomous bile, it's rather telling. And since those types of personalities often tend to be rather tiresome to deal with, you shouldn't really be surprised when people think less of you for feeling this way. Think of it this way: hating Cartman is cool, because oh boy has he given us reasons for doing so. Kairi? I scarcely think she has given me reason to feel ANYTHING about her.

Certainly, I have never actually seen the show and is not the most qualified to make statements about it, but I cannot deny that when a show has an official contest on whose loli-butt viewers like the most I get more than just a little deterred.
