130 I continue to hate AKMs. They drive all this bizarre completely ooc heavy kink fic and you lose all the reading and writing of anything else while they're going on. That is sometimes okay in a really big fandom, but pretty bad in a smaller one.

#132 - I saw Ep. 1 with a few friends and one of my male friend's mother (Ok, I was in grade 5, we needed a chaperone still. :P). She turned to me during the Qui-Gon/Shmi scene and said "he's the father, right?". Lol. I had already seen it once, so I just said "you'll see...", but I marvelled at the fact that the movie sort of set it up for you to think that way, which IS confusing.

I'm not the OP, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that Sora plays a more active role in the story and we get to see more of him, while Kairi for the most part usually serves as simply the passive love interest. It's more of a problem with the writers than the character, IMO.

127. I actually never found her interesting, either, OP. I think people like her (or pretend to) because it's no longer okay to hate a female character that is very involved with two other male characters. Because usually, those males are an OTP in fandom, and people think you're a raging yaoi fangirl if you dislike the female character.

Pardon the character journal (don't feel like logging out), but ...some of us like her because we like her. Not because she's involved with the OTP. I like the pairing. I like the OT3. I like the characters individually. All three of them.

People don't find the same things interesting. If you find certain character traits boring, you don't 'notice' them; if someone else finds them interesting, they do. I like Kairi. I write Sora/Riku fic, I write Sora/Riku/Kairi fic, I write Kairi-centric fic -- it has nothing to do with pretending for social status.

Honestly, I think that people assume others only like a character because they're afraid of their fandom reputation? Is more than a little insulting. Do you really think we're all that shallow?

I have to ask why you think 102 is a troll? I seriously know women in real life, from teenagers all the way up to 50 and 60 years olds, who really do believe that they are worthless without a man in their life and will do anything to keep a guy, even if they have NOTHING in common.
