I like the sriracha chicken and the creamy chicken flavors. Sometimes I poach an egg in it and put shredded cheese and scallions on it.

There's one I pick up at the Asian grocer that's an instant noodle bowl with dehydrated eggs in it. NO idea what flavor it is... I just know it's the bowl with the big green stripe on the lid. XD

I like to skip the flavor packet, cool the noodles, mix them with spicy peanut sauce, green onions, sugar snap peas, and strips of fried egg to make a noodle salad.

I spent yesterday with a steadily worsening headache that turned into nausea by the time my work day was over, but I still had errands to run, so I did them. I spent the bus ride home trying not to throw up, got home, put the hens away, puked, fed the cat, threw up some more, brushed my teeth, and fell over. Woke up at midnight, fed my (very confused to be fed so late) disabled hen who needs hand feeding, went back to bed. I woke up feeling functional if not great, walked outside barefoot, and stepped on a bee.

All this is to say, I stayed home from work today. Finally got the stinger out. My toes are bright red and twice their normal size, I have an itchy rash halfway to my knee, and I’m still feeling vaguely headachy and nauseous, but also out of it because the second thing I grabbed after an icepack was an antihistamine. There’s so much I need to do, and I feel guilty for being a lump instead.

... sigh. “At last, my stomach feels okay. I can cook dinner!” *garlic press squirts garlic back into my eyes, lid comes off garlic salt and dumps 3/4 of it into pan.* If nothing else, I’ve made myself into very effective vampire-repellant. Please, for the love of fuck, let the rest of the week be better.

People who park in handicapped parking spots "just to pick up their kids." Don't care if you are only going to be there two minutes. You don't have a placard/license plate, don't park there. It is illegal and wrong. The place where my Toastmaster's group meets also holds a daycare. It has a small parking lot right next door with three handicapped spots. Then it has a larger lot across the street. Parents always want to park in the closer lot. And if the other spots are full they park in the handicapped spots. It really pisses me off.

Also, I still have a migraine that keeps getting worse. I have to be in court tomorrow morning, so I need it to go away. I'm out of my pain pills, and my doctor won't give me any more for a while.

A casual acquaintance on FB (because of course it's Facebook) just posted (unironically) a Trump 2020 logo. She's white, low income, single mother in a rural area with tons of families relying upon food stamps and government programs. She's got relatives struggling to pay their own medical bills because of shitty health insurance. I'm do tired of fucking morons like this.

Spent nearly an hour yesterday trying to convince my boss that one of my colleagues needs a kick up the arse. My boss has been soft on him and let him get away with so much (stealing, lying about stealing, breaking policies, treating other staff like crap, laziness) because "he's young and naive, it's his first job, etc."

Which, IMO, is exactly why he needs a wake-up call. He needs to learn that this shit wouldn't fly in other workplaces and he won't always get second/third/fourth chances. It just grates on me that he gets away with so much and puts in zero effort when me and other colleagues work ourselves silly and get disciplined for way less.

I'm not depressed. I just have every other problem right now and I'm allowed to have feelings about it. I don't need to be fixed, my life needs to be fixed.

I'm just so fucking sick of the Tony bashing. Like. I'm not a stan or anything, although constantly seeing the hate might actually be turning me into one. (Is there a name for the psychological phenomenon where continually hearing an opinion you disagree with makes you disagree with it even more strongly? Like the opposite of an echo chamber?)

People have made their reasons very clear, I just Don't Feel the Same Way and it irritates me. Can't people just fucking like what I like? Of course that's a dumbass thing to say and I'm definitely not posting this as a secret for obvious reasons but uuugh.

I'm gonna go reread some fanfics that treat both Tony and Steve with some fucking respect, have a nice evening everyone

I want to drop 40 pounds. And I want my hips to be narrower (which can't happen without actually shaving down my pelvis bone) and my boobs to be As, and I want to be shaped like those stick-figure girls I saw all through high school and college. I hate curves. God, I hate curves. They just look so ugly on me. I look so ugly. I should be grateful, because I eat enough to blow up like a blimp and I don't really gain weight easily. I am grateful. So grateful. But I'm greedy, and being grateful for what I have doesn't make me not want more.
