110: Gamma and Zimmy are soulmates. It's kind of fucked up, but it's also very very sweet. And Annie/Kat... that's been hinted at, albeit by Reynardine who was just being lascivious to annoy Annie. I ship Gamma/Zimmy with the firm belief that this is just authorial intention, and Annie/Kat in a slightly guilty, furtive way because it probably isn't. (But! The handholding!)

And I don't think there's anything odd about shipping them, because they are old enough to have had romantic or quasi-romantic relationships in the strip. Kat had that thing with the winged boy, and there's the classmates who are constantly sneaking off to make out in cupboards. ("We are here! WE WERE NOT DOING ANYTHING!")

I can see why some people might think it "cheapens" their friendships if both pairs of girls turn out to be gay, and I don't necessarily think he means Annie/Kat to be...but Gamma/Zimmy definitely. Or at least a one-sided thing from Zimmy, but I think it goes both ways. I love that Gunnerkrigg has a fandom! *squee*

Hee, Hardycest! I can't mock... my first ships, before I'd heard of shipping, were all wrestling-related, too. Hogan/Savage was my first, and I've shipped HBK and HHH for about ten years now. The homoeroticism of wrestling cannot be denied. :)

Yeah, I had trouble seeing much difference. Bottom left and right aren't too bad I suppose, but they aren't fabulous either.

I enjoy a lot of manga and anime, but fanart is best when the artist has their own, well-developed style.
