They got me into fan fiction. I remember back when we first got the internet (around 1998 when I was 10) I would write horrible, awful, self-insert fan fiction with Matt Hardy and post it to an E-Group (nowadays they're Yahoo! Groups).

Ah man, those were the days. Hahaha.

Those WERE the days!

They didn't get me into fic - Buffy's responsible for that - but yeah, they did get me into fic writing. I wrote this EPIC self-insert (no really, the Mary Sue had my exact name and everything) where, among other things, the Hardyz were my best friends and took me out clubbing every night after the shows (which I was at cause, I don't know, I was magically Shane McMahon's valet). The WWFSML group and the SHMARTASS groups were my favorites.
