146. That's kind of how I felt about Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours." That song had been a special secret for the fans, as it wasn't on an album or the radio for years, so being familiar with it pretty much said 'You're a true Mraz fan.' Then Jason put it on his latest album and lo and behold, what was once a coveted gem is now an overplayed single on the radio. I've gotten over my initial upset, though. I tell myself it's just great to have him back, and it really makes me smile to hear people say they like the song, or heck, even love it. Jason deserves the appreciation.

Oh so agreed on Mraz. Although there are still a few, I feel like that is happening with a lot of the songs that were the fans for a while. Like Galaxy, which was a fave of mine for a while, is available on iTunes. A small part of me hopes that it never happens with "Gd Rests in Reason" but then again I used that at my wedding so all my family and friends love it now. :D I love that he isn't randomly obscure anymore but then again, less chance to see him hanging out after shows. ;)

123. I love the Undead and I think their quests are of the best in the game. But then again, I like playing the villain, and I enjoy factions that push the moral question. of course, it's just a game, but there's no truer villain than the Undead.

Plus their racials are OP.

102. ... You know, having bigger things going on probably doesn't mean a character can't make a love confession while fixing other things at the same time. It's not really mutually exclusive. It even makes a lot of sense to swallow your fears and misgivings in such a situation and just go ahead and confess like that, if there's a danger of one or both of you not making it through things. You wouldn't want to live with that regret.

121. I pay my friends for the time and effort it takes to draw anything I request of them. Their original characters, my original characters, or fandom. Just because I appreciate them doing it. I'd pay them for fic, too, but it's never come up -- usually we just do fic exchanges in that case. I also buy stuff that I think is especially beautiful or cute in Artist's Allies, and would do the same thing for fan-made merchandise, fanfiction, doujinshi (and do!), etc.

The money that goes toward this has no connection to the money that goes to the canon itself or the official merchandise. Me buying something fan-made for, say, Reborn, certainly isn't going to stop me from buying the cute official figurines from Reborn that I want. It doesn't impact the original creator at all, so I don't see the unethical argument. Though I'm sure people will try to point out the flaws in my reasoning to me soon. XD
