129. I finished watching GL last week, and I ship Simon/Nia. Not rabidly, and I haven't made any of the secrets. But anyway, I hate when people generalize all fans of one pairing/character/series just because of the rabid ones. It's possible to have a lot of passion for something and not be creepy about it.

138. Now that you mention it, monologues are pretty cheap. It drove me crazy how in the dub of Spider Riders, they felt the need to dumb it down by explaining everything that could simply be deducted by watching the visuals.

101) BARGE IN! Try a friending meme, comment on other peoples posts. Though it also helps if you have something to say once you get people's attention. For that, consider: Writing fic, do art, meta, lead discussions, make icons, compile recs. Do those things and people will start seeking you out. Even if you have no artistic talent, recs and meta are always appreciated.

117) I tried, but I simply can't read this. Between the color, the font and the busy background, it's just impossible.

122) Of course he's an arrogant hypochondriac with self-esteem issues. That's part of his charm. Some people's flaws just get more irritating as time goes on, for some reason his grow on you and just make him more adorable.

125) Everyone goes through the sue phase. One of these days you'll be able to laugh about your early efforts, knowing there's no shame in being a new writer. Go back to the fandom and write some new fic, fandom will remember you for the new fic not the old.

138. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a monologue or exposition. The problem arises when those devices are overused, which causes the end result to feel heavyhanded and obvious.

Also, I have to wonder what Episode 25 of Gurren Lagann, you were watching, that had needless exposition about how people felt they were living in Kamina's shadow. The only character suffering fromt hat was Kittan, and he didn't exposit on it: he just tried to give a Hot Blooded Encouraging Speech, Kamina-style, and then started stumbling over his words and ran out of steam. And then he remarked to Yoko that Kamina would have done it much better than him. That's...not what you're describing at all.

IAWTC. Fictional dialogue is inherently unrealistic; monologuing is just one of the ways that can manifest, and it can be done badly and cheaply as well as brilliantly.

I get what you're saying, but the way you're saying it is incredibly clumsy. "Dialogue-based" shows mean something entirely different that don't necessarily do any of those things.

Dr. Horrible, for example, would be dialogue-heavy. Kevin Smith movies, also. I think you've failed to make a distinction between "heavy use of dialogue" and "telling, not showing."
