What are some of your favorite fic kinks? What are some of the specifics you like?

Femdom, focus one one partner's pleasure, praise kink (either sub or dom getting praise or in fics without BDSM, don't care, just like praise), bondage, D/s where the dom takes care of the sub, D/s where the sub has ideas and plans and is enthusiastic, D/s where the sub is not the character you'd expect and doesn't have to submit but chooses to because they want to, hair pulling, blow jobs, one partner is naked and the other isn't, semi-public sex where they risk being caught, sounding, pegging and magic cocks in femdom, anal sex in femslash and het in addition to slash, shower/bath sex, mutual masturbation, multiple orgasms in slash (and femslash and het too, but less common to have it written about men and that's where I particularly like it), noisy men, breast play and breast fucking in het and femslash, threesomes and moresomes, enthusiastic participation by everyone involved.

That's what I can think of right now. I've got a lot.

I want like... actual obedience in dom/sub stuff? It feels like no one manages to get it right at all, and I know a lot of that is inexperience so I can't exactly blame them, but it does make me ache for it a little bit. Nothing gets me hotter than a sub staying put without bondage, or holding their orgasm without any kind of chastity device or any other outside influence, sheerly through the power of their desire to obey. It's so damn good.

General things - bondage, spanking, power play, mutual masturbation, frottage are the big ones. Also it's not really a kink as such, but the concept of people getting really, really turned on somewhat unexpectedly, or almost accidentally, and deciding to just go with it - that's a really good setup for me. So like, the classic example is two characters get locked in an enclosed space together and end up getting really turned on by the proximity and fucking.

More specific things... obedience and borderline worship from the sub in a dom/sub situation. Like a sub actively asking for and seeking discipline, or wanting to serve the dom and being an eager slave, or instinctively obeying a dom's command because they want to. And praise from dom to sub. Brattiness can be OK too but more in moderation. Underwear as gags. Biting.

My favorite kinks tend to change a bit based on my OTP. Right now some of my favorite kinks are:

-Bottom who is preternaturally responsive and multi-orgasmic. Also very inexperienced. Comes at the drop of a hat, but is then ready to go again within seconds. (Benefits of the character being not-quite-human!)

-Bottom who is extremely enthusiastic and kind of filthy, but in a sweet and sort of innocent way? Like, they’re not trying to be filthy, they’re just so incredibly gone on their partner, and so extremely sensitive that they aren’t very in control of their responses, and those responses are kind of filthy.

-Bottom who has a major praise kink.

-Under-negotiated & informal D/s - no scenes or major negotiations, just one character who’s kind of subby, and the other who’s kind of Dommy, and both of them being EXTREMELY into it. Major bonus points if the sub doesn’t really know this about themselves and is caught off guard and confused by their own responses (and maybe tries to suppress them but can’t).

-Extremely generous, loving Doms who are more turned on by giving pleasure than they are by seeking their own pleasure. (I really ONLY like this kind of Dom, tbh.)

-Virginity. I feel a little bad about this one (the whole cultural concept of virginity is slut-shamey garbage, IMO). But “I’m the first to ever have you and the only one you want, how the fuck did I get this lucky?” is hot AF to me.

-Alpha/Omega, if it’s done just right - I.e. the alpha treats the omega as an equal, and the sex is as unrapey as possible. Also, I like it as filthy as possible, with lots of focus on the omega’s slick and the alpha’s knot and lots and lots of come.

I have a bit of a thing for an experienced partner gently guiding their inexperienced/virgin lover through sex. If it's awkward, but ends up working out in the end, is an added bonus.

Also, I'm not sure if this could be considered a "kink", but I love stories where a big, tough, strong character gets sick and/or injured, and the smaller, weaker character has to care for them.

I did my Thanksgiving grocery shopping today. Of course it's the last Friday before US Thanksgiving so the store was packed, it was hard to find parking, traffic was fucky, and so on. But I went in knowing it would be that way and just stayed patient and positive and got it over with, lol. I will still have to go pick up Thanksgiving dessert next week tho (we do a fruit and custard tart instead of pumpkin pie). I got a mani-pedi and stopped for tea, my new favorite is iced strawberry black tea with strawberry puree instead of boba. And a ring I ordered myself for Christmas came today, and I love it so much that I decided to wear it now rather than wait for Christmas. :D

Been trying to sleep off the flu and also trying not to panic because my dad got laid off, which means we won't be able to replace the wrecked car for a while, so we'll be right back to bumming rides from family and friends every time we need to leave the house like we were before we saved up enough money to buy the last car. Curse our town's lack of public transportation. At least I'm on disability now so I can help out more financially.

Feeling a little sad - I just heard that Google's going to redo the local Street View shots, and the shot they took outside out house back in "15 included my dog, whom we had to put to sleep last year. I've had a rough, uh, few months? And this is just way more upsetting than I expected it to be.

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am going to try and finish the hot pad I am making for my sister for Thanksgiving. I am using a new pattern that I really like. I also need to finish my Christmas shopping so I can stop worrying about that.
