(Anonymous) 2019-11-23 01:27 am (UTC)(link)Good on her for helping deal with the threat that would have WIPED her out as well as everyone else. And did she really help? Her shitty Dothraki got themselves killed immediately. Her dragons did shit all to help.
Not sure why you think the Starks should have to kowtow to her? Sansa didn't agree to giving her the North in exchange for help. Dany heavily implied that if the North (who had painfully fought for their independence) would be wiped out if they didn't bend the knee for a foreign queen with nukes.
Oh, she also kept trying to fuck her nephew after he clearly didn't want to have sex with her.

(Anonymous) 2019-11-23 01:32 am (UTC)(link)That’s literally the opposite of what happened. when she discovered they had been re-enslaved again after she had left, she put on hold her planned invasion of King's Landing even though she had enough forces then so she could help them again and enforce her abolition of slavery.

(Anonymous) 2019-11-23 02:23 am (UTC)(link)“ Unfortunately, those places were not militarily valuable to Dany so she didn't care enough to liberate those people.”
She was planning on it, then Jon killed her.

(Anonymous) 2019-11-23 02:40 am (UTC)(link)Also the dragons not helping against an enemy previously described as being weak to both dragon fire and dragonglass is just bad writing, not a fault of hers.

(Anonymous) 2019-11-23 03:18 am (UTC)(link)LOL, this sad old refrain by Dany stans. The White Walkers weren't solely a Stark problem, or a Northern problem, they were an everyone problem. If they'd wiped out the North, they would have come for the rest of Westeros. You know, the realm Dany wanted to rule. It was in her best interest to help stop the White Walkers too. Not that she did much in the end. Hell, her damn dragon was responsible for so much of the destruction the White Walkers caused.
And I like how you frame this as the Starks being ungrateful, like they didn't have cause to resent Jon giving away the independence their family and people fought and died for, just because Dany gave him a chubby.

(Anonymous) 2019-11-23 03:28 am (UTC)(link)The only reason her dragon was killed was because she was rescuing Jon.

(Anonymous) 2019-11-23 04:26 am (UTC)(link)Because Dany didn’t sacrifice anything for them..
The North sacrificed for Dany too. They died by the thousands to help stop the White Walkers and secure the safety of the realm Dany meant to rule.
